Plot – Spoilers:
Chaos is an unofficial and more brutal remake of Wes Craven’s 1972 The Last House on the Left.

A gang of three on the run are holed up in a cabin by the woods. Chaos the leader is a sadistic killer who’s wanted in 4 states while his junkie girlfriend Daisy and petty felon Frankie hang around him in fear and the hope of scraps earned from mugging highway muppets.

Living close by are an interracial couple with daughter Emily whose friend Angelica is visiting from LA. Angelica brings with her big city excitement and Emily who’s bored of the country takes her to a rave in the woods. While at the rave, they meet Swan who offers to get them the best E in town. Turns out, Swan is the bullied son of Chaos who’s been sent to the rave to procure easy meat for his Dad and friends.

The two girls go on to experience a horror that includes nipple removal, being fucked with a knife and necro rape.

The movie starts with a Disclaimer that Chaos was made to educate, but instead was universally panned for being exploitative. Whatever, it certainly is one of the more effed up films ever made.

After all these years, my expectations were low. As far as a Last House remake goes, it takes the crown. 2005 internet was right. It does suck. One more star for the swearing. 2/5

As commented on, it has a similarity to Last House on the Left. The ending was a surprise and the scene of note was the creation of a vaganus! Though even so its nothing exceptional. 2.5/5.0 “E’s”

definitely some brutal stuff. Not too insane in the way of gore. the ending made zero sense. Last House is definitely the superior piece of cinema, but like someone else said if checking extreme stuff like this off your list is what you do it’s worth a half hearted watch

No plot required, I enjoyed it for its brutality and gore and I loved that ending. Where is part two?

It starts by saying its purpose is to educate. So it’s an educational film? What are we supposed to learn from it?

Found your site yesterday and it is amazing! Thank you for these movies! Just finished this one and the ending caught me by surprise. I thought it was actually a pretty good movie though not as brutal as the description.

Personally I thought it was a good remake and more realistic than “The End of the Street” movie. This is very brutal though which sad to say may also be more realistic.

Man…I was really hoping for a more brutality. Don’t get me wrong…there are 2-3 decent parts, but on the whole, it was a long time between them, with some subpar acting. Glad I’ve seen it, but wouldn’t watch it again. If you’re a completist in extreme cinema, I’d say go for it. Otherwise, it’s just a couple of decent parts sandwiched between a LOT of dialog.

That said, thank you to the folks at Effed Up for hosting this film. We all appreciate your dedication to preserving extreme cinema.

More gore than quality. A very grotesque and gore oriented movie disguised to be realistic and engaging. Some scenes do offer a genuine shock, including one scene in particular that about had my mouth fully open. The shocks and edginess does not make up for the disorganized and uninteresting plot however. With a laughable ending and unavoidably stale characters, I recommend doing something more productive with your hour.
