Plot – Spoilers:
A gay man wakes up from a one-night stand and is seemingly bored by his obese lover who’s fast asleep. He decides to explore the house and finds drugs and some money that he isn’t above pocketing. His casual worldview is however shaken when he finds a whimpering bound man, with holes hammered into his limbs. His lover also reappears, now dressed as a clown.
The clown is cruel while also tender at other times – a bit bipolar like the movie, which has scenes of extraordinary aesthetic beauty while others seem amateurly composed. Not sure if this was deliberate, to differentiate the states of mind of the victim.
Inspired by the world of John Wayne Gacy, Torment has gained a notoriety, more likely from its ‘hard to find’ nature. Having said that, if you’re male and not gay, you’ll probably need some additives inside your body to get through it.
Boring ass sin, couldn’t finish it. Repetitive and tries way too hard to be edgy and shock you. Wouldn’t recommend

honestly was not as bad as some of these comments made it out to seem. my expectations were soooo low.
Can I share my thoughts? Positive: The Torment started up with a good melancholic music, so I’m wondering if there is gonna be some drama here. Then shit happened. Even though they almost didn’t speak words, I think their reactions were successfully able to express the thought of the characters. My favorite moment in the film is the close-up scene of the clown hearing children’s sound after the first night, with tears falling down from his eyes. For me, that really tells me a lot. Negative: Fanservice? There were moments that actually didn’t have them to be naked to tell the story, but then, there you have it. As for the background music, there were times that instead of raising up my tension, some of them are actually just distracting me. Also, some of the dubbed sounds are irritating to the ears. Then, I see no problem with the actor’s acting. Exaggerated? They should be, since their faces have to express this much as they almost didn’t speak words. I only have a problem with the script. Why is the our main character so crybaby and stupid? He had so many fucking times to escape in that goddamn house. Why does the clown sometimes have inconsistent actions? Like when he was dragging the unconscious body of the main character to the room as if he didn’t care if he would hurt or not, but in the next scene, he was carrying him like a princess and gently put him on… Read more »

Too many movies of men torturing women are already a bit visually fatigued, homosexual torture is still rare, and the homosexual market is also very large.
Too much of Unearthed catalogue is gay torture porn as if the sight of flaccid penises alone is ”shocking”. Lots of their films have at least one castration scene. Not bad. Good atmosphere and like the art direction. Kind of goes off in some strange places with the dream sequences which some may construe as pretentious but just comes across to me as padding, like they needed to fill out that 1:10. Best part I though was when he ripped the clowns face off and there was the monster clown under. The fx are very rudimentary but they make it work in editing. Worth a view, but there’s better of course. Honestly I found Vulgar more disturbing.

This movie is crazy as hell, I understand people try to stay alive with hopes of being released or escaping but fuck that i would rather kill myself then go through being raped and tortured i refuse to give that satisfaction im not begging or none of that
Wasn’t to bad at all… Good music and yes.. no story as such but I thought the effects and pace were actually quite gripping.

I recommended this movie to someone on this site, and here it is without request. Cheers to EUM. This film is from Domiziano Cristopharo who is the director of Red Krokodil ( also on this site ). I thought that film was awesome, as was Doll Syndrome which I think was made in 2014. If you are offended by gay rape, torture and male nudity, maybe give Torment a miss. I didnt really enjoy it but I thought it was well directed and acted with a creepy soundtrack which gave it a great atmosphere. I rate it 8 out of 10.
If you like really fucked up movies, you will like this one…this had me tin my head away a few times.

Ok going to be watching this soon . I’m very excited and been waiting so thank you admins. I will go into it with open mind as always and wait until after its done and I gather my thoughts to give real opinion. I feel weird saying I hope it’s good seeing how the actual story is not even close to ok so a little 2 sided feeling on that for sure and I seen all the other movies made . Knowing what’s in it is definitely risky for me and lots of triggers but I seriously doubt this one will take all sanity I have left away . Nothing has broke me yet so

Regarding Torment as a movie tho… completely useless, imo:( No plot or story(I guess I could go out in a limb and say survival/escape), completely amateur sfx at best, and honestly, I found it slow to the point of being almost bored while viewing it, until the final scenes. I honestly didn’t find the film that ‘shocking’ either, in regards to the violence, rape, and homosexuality, not enough to warrant Unerathed’s little ‘too extreme for mainstream’ marketing gimmick. Ooh, some unsimulated anal sex, edgy. Some things that it had that weren’t completely terrible: There was a bit of suspense finally at the end of the film when the protagonist managed to hide in the room and attack the clown I suppose; even tho there were only a couple words of dialogue, I guess the actors did a decent job for it being damn near a silent film, tho realistically I feel there would’ve been a lot more screaming, lol; the soundtrack was decent; and the shots/editing weren’t terrible. Effedup added a film a few months back titled ‘Flesh Meat Dolls’ which was similar to this film in that it was meant only to shock and offend, which it did a lil bit better at I suppose, yet was another completely useless film:/ Anybody else notice how the dubbed in bed creaking sounds during the sex scenes didn’t match up at all?
