Plot – Spoilers:
The third and final installment in the Hostel series moves the action from Slovakia to the US.
Four friends head to Vegas for a bachelor party and indulge in stripper and hooker action. If the guys in Hostel 1 were mildly annoying, these are borderline despicable and you can’t wait to see them suffer.
So anyway, they are taken one by one by the Elite Hunting Club who seem to have opened out a franchise near Vegas. The Hunting Club have also upgraded their systems – not only do you get to kill, while you’re at it, you also are watched live by other members seated as an audience who then place bets on certain aspects of the kill. The kills featured here include torture by insects, a victim’s facial skin scalped away and death by a crossbow.
Hostel 3 never saw a theatre and was direct-to-video following a poor response from a test audience screening. When you watch this, you can see why. It has the deaths, the annoying characters and a new betting concept and yet, just doesn’t work as well as the previous two Hostels. Moving the Elite Hunting Club from Slovakia to the United States also didn’t help.

wisb the plot was based around the said in title hostel and not some shitty american party. i dont mind the idea of them watching everything live,matter of fact, i like that they tried incorpotating a new idea, but i wish it all took place in slovakia like in the last 2 movies. def the worst of the 3 parts, but i dont hate it. also travis is so fucking hot gosh i wish he fucked me
Yeah, it’s not as good as the first two but there are a couple of satisfying kills. 2 and a half stars.

Unlike 1 & 2, neither Tarantino nor Roth had anything to do with production, so I was expecting a lesser film and that’s what I got.

That shot of the roaches going in her mouth was the cheesiest thing i have ever seen. Why even do cgi when it looks that bad? Definitely part 1&2 are the best here, although the face peel was decent.
Cannot compare to Hostel 1+2, didnt have the same nastiness and grittiness, in fact it was a basic slasher comparable to dozens of others out there that are pretty much Z grade and forgettable. As OJ mentioned above, the director was probably a newbie and out of his depth.

Nothing special compare to the first 2 hustel. That normally happens when you change the director. Same mistake was done with Bad Boys. They ruined a nice franchise.
This movie is a thrash. A big disappointment for fans who enjoyed first two parts. The only worth seeing in the film is Cassie Keller. Remember! that half naked waitress in the reception wearing only pantes and slings across shoulders. She is gorgeous. She has beautiful face, sexy buttocks and ample breasts. I want to suck those breasts. I will keep her as my personal handmaiden.
Hostel Part 3 simply ruined this classic franchise. Fuck the makers of this film. I recommend this only if you are bored to death and have nothing to do or else just watch Hostel Part 1 and 2. This can be skipped.
Wish Tarantino was director of all these 3 films.
