Plot – Spoilers:
A rural Danish church welcomes a Neo-Nazi, Adam, as part of his parole. Adam is instantly repelled and intrigued by the church priest, Ivan, with his half-sweater and dogmatic belief in the goodness of all men.
Adam’s Apples begins with what seems like some tropey movie about a neo-nazi being turned over a new leaf by a noncombative man of god, but soon veers away, when Adam makes it his mission to hammer away at the cracks he finds in the priest’s façade.

Bizarre religious black comedy. Really good. 4 stars. Favorite part: “In medical terms this is what you call a half Kennedy” while the doctor is laughing his ass off.

This is an exceptional, intelligent, surprising and darkily funny little movie. Gets better by the minute and the ending is incredibly rewarding.
