I am so deeply unhappy, the only thing that can make me even remotely smile is if I can somehow fuck up another person’s happiness. Or wipe the smile off their face as Cesar, the concierge of an apartment in Barcelona, puts it.
There are those who are unhappy and sleepless well into the wee hours and who might seek solace in radio shows they can call into and share their hopelessness with. But Cesar is nextlevel unhappy and is stable only when his target is miserable. On days when he is unsuccessful at spreading joylessness, he feels suicidal. His bedridden mother serves as his confessor, though he isn’t seeking any absolution from her. On the contrary, confiding in her might be his way of tormenting her remaining waking hours.
A polished Spanish gem. Door Lock is its Korean version, that is quite different in theme.
Creepy and twisted tale about a demented and sick weirdo. Really good. Loved the ending. 4 and a half stars.

wow, Joaquin Phoenix was great in this.
It was okay, killed a couple of hours of boredom and it’s free so I can’t really complain. I just expected more, as if the movie were building up to a great crescendo, a climax if you will. I much prefer brutal slasher gory movies like Inside (2007), so this movie was not really effed up for me. Would still recommend though, if you’ve got nothing better to do.

Love this movie, I watched it not so long ago and its the first movie for a long time I wished I hadn’t seen so I could watch it for the first time again Luis Tosar is excellent!!
now re actual movie, i liked it,suits when yr into chillin,has some very creative plot ingrediants .great acting,no nudity or rape scenes but def worthy of a watch.nb eng subs .4/5
