Wait 30secs. Movie still not playing? Click the "Can't Watch?" tab.
Click this first
A new tab will open and a basic security check like a captcha will be performed. After completing the check, close that page and return here.
Refresh this page. Wait 30 secs. The movie should load and you can just hit play.
If it still doesn't play, Click here to watch the movie
The movie should now start playing in a new tab of your browser or begin downloading to your device. This option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs with this method.
The new system here has been designed keeping in mind even people with low internet speeds sub-8mbps. Even if you have a really bad connection, you should still be able to watch the movie without any issues if you:
Start the movie. Pause it. Wait for 30-45 seconds. Start playing again.
This 'Can't Watch' method really only works if it's your specific device/browser that's interfering with the player. There is no real advantage of speed here. Or if there is a temp network glitch or read lag from the server disk.
If you're still having problems, try using 'Incognito mode' in your browser. On iPhones, especially older ones, use Chrome instead of Safari. Might help.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the newly opened tab is not an ad popup asking you to download some software or whatever. Close any such popups and don't download any software - those are ads. Nothing is needed to be done by you other than to complete the security check which is often automated.

Plot – Spoilers:
Pauline, a high school teen, lives with her American Beauty type parents and younger sister Grace. Unlike American Beauty though, here the Dad doesn’t look like snapping any time soon out of it. The Mom (Traci Lords) believes she holds the home together and dotes on Grace who is sickly and in need of a lung transplant. Pauline on the other hand is sociopathic and not feminine the way her mother envisages, and rumbles through her days at school and dinner table conversations.
Though the two sisters are diametrically opposite, they share a bond and Grace’s ideal daughter self is more a reflection of her eagerness to please and her dependence on her mother.
Pauline dreams of becoming a surgeon but at the root of her sociopathy is her sexual fascination with gore and dead bodies. The inability to share this with anyone except a Steve Buscemi-type priest who moonlights as her therapist, drives Pauline deeper and deeper into exploring gore and its pleasures through bizarre acts like losing her virginity while on her period and morbid surgeries.
A strong aspect of the movie is the stilted mother-daughter relationship where the mother is disappointed and a bully but with retarded ideas of bridging their divide by including activities like the ‘truth horn’ on their car trips together. She is actually well-meaning but fails to get the glaring fact that her daughter will never be regular. It all culminates in tragedy and the Mom ends up the worst off.
Favourite Scenes:
1. Pauline’s sexual fantasies:
What makes these short interspersed scenes great are the aesthetics. The sets and backdrops succeed in making gore and even a foetus being microwaved, beautiful.
2. The sex scene with Adam:
A woman fucking while splashed in crimson glory. Nothing more to say…
3. The transplant operation:
While this isn’t too gorily detailed, the idea is a bit funny like what Mr Bean would get up to if he were into gore and death.

This is a black comedy. A really black comedy. It covers several issues including, but not limited to, bullying, virginity, illness, self harm, religion, death and murder. AnnaLynne McCord (who was 23 years old when making this film) is fantastic as the twisted and demented “Pauline.” Traci Lords gives a stellar performance as Pauline’s mom (I have a hard core video of Traci Lords getting fucked before everyone found out she was only 16 at the time). I’m going to give this 4 and a half stars.
shhhtt… she has same dreams and fantasies as i do 🙂
Jesus Christ that ending was quite a fucking jump
The story is interesting, the acting is more than respectable. This B series movie, probably a direct-to-video, deserves more recognition than that. It’s well made film – only the Dad is a lower tier actor. I wish there were more nudity, but when you’re not insane you can watch a movie that does feature your fetish. It just has to be a good one, like here. It’s also marvellous to see Traci Lords rock in the role of someone who’s most likely the very opposite of what she’s always been in real life.
traci lords the mum starred in her first porn film when she was 15 years old
Where can I find a wacky foid like this she’s amazing 🙂
Wow that was good and the ending was shocking.
I did enjoy this movie a lot. I relate to the protagonist (personality wise, I’m not one for digging around inside people) and the overall family dynamic. It’s an uncomfortable reflection but it made this feel all the more cathartic tbh
Steve Buscemi-type priest??thats john waters
must watch. probably one of my fave movies of all time, Pauline is such a fantastically written and relatable character. I see myself a lot in her. besides the story (which i also love), the gore and blood is super fun too. untreated and ignored mental illness is scary, her parents had it coming
the autistic teenage weirdgirl experience wrapped up in one shitty film. perfect.
it´s so bad it reminds me of the kissing booth
i wait for the renaissance of femcel horror
cameos from john waters, malcolm macdowall and ray wise was pretty cool and this does feel like it has a kind of cult movie thing going for it but also its just kinda too all-over-the-place and i dont think it has good enough acting.
it was still REALLY entertaining though which is really all that matters
Annalynne MCcord really surprised me in this film, she was really good at portraying the troubled sociopath that is Pauline. I thought this was going to be some tacky experience, but it actually left me feeling very shocked and empty inside after viewing this film. 9/10 highly suggest, that sex scene was pique perversion.
fucking hell i wanted to kill all the characters, those asshole parents, that cunty sister and that ugly fuckig retard of the protagonist
They took the girl’s tongue out.
Better get her on anti-rejection drugs STAT!
Forgot about this hidden gem.
She’s just like me fr
Also. Autistic energy (complementary)
God I wanted her to kill her asshole parents so bad
Pretty good, I had fun watching it. It was pretty weird but well done and interesting to watch.
Really good film
She just like me fr fr
need more movies like this and Aimy in a Cage: movies about psychotic teenage girls whose family just doesn’t get it.
The pacing was off and so was the continuity. Add to that the many other errors and I was distracted. Even the ending was fluffed. People seem to have enjoyed it but for me it felt like the fantasy scenes were just stitched together with a plot to make a film.
not horrible just plainly boring not effedup at all. I should know since I saw the girl from modern family this was going to be cheesy
untreated mental illness is a very sad thing
Not a bad little film. The dialogue is good and the highlight of the film imo, particularly the witty one liners from Pauline. Has the added bonus of John Waters playing the vicar. 3.5/5 sutures
Awesome. Loved it. The shocking end actually made me gasp out loud. Absolutely brilliant!!
i look quite a bit like the main character and also am very likely on the spectrum so this was quite a trip to watch, like joker but for women
This movie, I wanna say i enjoyed it, but I don’t know if that’s the right word. it’s extremely disturbing, and not because it has gratuitous violence or sexual assault or anything like that. The lead actress does a really good job of playing this clearly disturbed character. She goes as far as to contort her body in every scene to make herself look weird. The ending was so shocking not because it was any more disturbing than your average horror film, but because we see the main character realize the consequences of her actions. I felt this overwhelming sense of dread that a movie has not been able to get me to feel in a while. Not as gory as Crazy Murder, but arguably more disturbing.
i really liked this movie, it gave me some nice american beauty vibes…. but i absolutely hated every single character in it, my fucking god! all of them except for grace…. (SPOILER) that stupid crazy bitch of her sister should have killed herself to donate her lungs to grace
Bob!!!!!!
Great movie! Really liked it!
This was a pretty good movie. Pauline is hilarious in her comebacks I loved it!! the movie cuts out just perfectly, leaving the end to the imagination. This is like a cross between Brigette from Ginger Snaps and Napoleon Dynamite. It’s not a scary movie but it is a good thriller and the characters are great actors including ex-pornstar being Traci Lords who plays the mother. Pretty good dark flick.
Those akward teenaged years. This was a good watch.. wouldn’t call it effed up maybe just disturbing.
Watched this on Prime not too long ago. Wonderful to find it again here! One of my faves…
pauline do u like girls. if yes i am free monday at noon bae. mentally ill shawtys<3
Not bad at all, although I am not a fan of American movies but this one was alright.
this was actually surprisingly good!
obsessed, I love this one!
I love this movie. I think anyone who visits this site will find the main characters fascination with blood and gore very relatable lol. Annalynne McCord and Traci Lords are both phenomenal and John Waters as the Priest/Therapist who is repulsed by Pauline’s disturbed mind is hilariously ironic if you’re familiar with some of his movies. EUM, you guys rock! I was going to request this but you already beat me to the punch. thanks!
