The filthiest person alive Divine, is hiding away in a trailer to avoid the pitfalls that come with being the filthiest person alive. She lives with her mother Edie who sits in a baby cot all day fetishing on eggs. Divine has a companion Cotton and an overgrown son Channing who’s into weird sex to impress the kinky Cotton.
Divine’s notoriety is resented by the Marble couple who most famously rear babies in their cellar. The Marbles think Divine’s fame is undeserved and are in a constant effort to wrest the ‘most filthiest’ title away from her.
Pink Flamingos’ notoriety stems from the bizarre fetishes some characters engage in, such as licking furniture and rooms as part of casting a spell. But the notoriety mostly comes from its bowel-grinding final scene.
