3096 Days is based on the Natascha Kampusch case where a 10 year-old Austrian girl was kidnapped and held in captivity for 8+ long years – 3096 days.
3096 Days will stay with you for a while because it doesn’t attempt to soften any of the blows. And it does this by not taking any obvious side, other than the side your sense of morality reaches out for. The actors are quite brilliant especially the girls – Amelia Pidgeon given her age, and Antonia Campbell-Hughes for her stunning skin-and-bones endeavour that made her convincing as a teenager, despite being over 30 at the time of filming.
Favorite scenes include a monologue by the young Natascha staring into the viewer and also the shame she later feels for experiencing an orgasm.

Well made film which I had a real claustrophobic feeling watching throughout. The dub is actually pretty good as I didn’t even know this was a German movie until halfway. Lucky for her the bastard started getting careless so she eventually mustered up and escaped.
Gross oversimplification of the real case, where it was her own father and not some random guy off the street. During her imprisonment she birthed 7 children to him, one of which died right after birth and he just burned it in a stove in that cellar. He also didn’t commit suicide, the fucker is in fact still alive and soon about to be moved to a regular prison from his current psychiatric ward.

I was really hoping that at some point the captive girl would have been able to kill the insufferable captor – he definitely deserved it!
You have to really appreciate this kid’s mental fortitude. Something tells me most people would completely fold psychologically within a month or two being stowed away like that, not to mention the repeated abuse and torture.
I’d say this is a must see for fans of drudgery and perseverance in the face of near impossible circumstances.

OMG! This movie is a really well documentation of the real life story. It was very hard for me to watch because it’s so heartbreaking! Very well done! I would recommend this movie to anyone who has the mental stability for it. 9/10!

Powerful intrigue and what a high level of acting.
FYI anyone edging / jerking off to this film, the best time to squirt your nut is during the second sex scene, where the cunt starts enjoying it. If you try saving it for the last beating or further, it won’t be a good nut as tbh, this movie’s beatings and brutality in general was fairly vanilla. This movie could have benefitted from a lot more savage punishments and rape scenes, but I mean… I definitely still jizzed. Not terrible.

some people even try to explain it with ” Stockholm Syndrome ” like it some sort of excuse, it is not. it is theft, kidnapping, abducting, holding to ransom, for some sick perversion, of control of a minor. all these white people are all demented, deranged and are also deluded.

Desolating ordeal. Unfortunately, people with Stockholm syndrome form a psychological connection with their captors and begin sympathizing with them. In addition to the original kidnapper-hostage situation, Stockholm syndrome now includes other types of trauma in which there’s a bond between the abuser and the person being abused.

Great drama, amazing acting, good and well paced plot. I’d give it a 5/5 if it wasn’t for that stupid scene with the “obey me” thing, that was so cheesy and unrealistic. So it gets a 4/5. Recommended as a drama, not a gory or the usual effedup you’re looking for.

Damn that movie was a very detailed account of the thing this girl endured, the abuse is not overly graphic or this movie could easily be unwatchable they kept it matter of fact instead of immersing the watcher in the emotions of the characters. It does a good job of giving you a feel for the monotony, you start to feel trapped in the movie because the characters are not allowed or are unable to develop which is accurate to the story. Wolfgang is arguably one of the most loathsome characters I have ever seen, he is monstrous but mainly his personality is intolerable there is nothing about him to sympathize with which makes her attachment to him never seem as real as it probably was. Actress is great her look is a major part of the film working, main actor…. I will probably hate him forever now, so good job I guess.
They should have gone full tilt into what the characters were feeling even though it would have made the film into a soul crushing nightmare, it might have just been to difficult or risky due to the autobiographical nature.
Really good movie. And it shows the reality, that there are a lot of sick fucks running rampant in society that kidnaps, rape torture and kill women (and men too) all the time. People like that should be locked on permanent isolation units far away from people, but, thanks to the progressive society and “inclusivity” they let these parasites out there to do whatever they want. Unnaceptable.
Really liked the movie. Now moving to the next one.

great movie, very sad feeling when she met her parent after 8 years, what a crazy world
wasn’t for me. it has interesting concepts and dives into issues in unique ways with interesting ways to express their thoughts, but I found this movie to drag a bit too long.
I really liked this movie . Amazing actors . what I really love is the end . how the van was what she was captured in and how it also set her free. I did research on this true story and found out she really cared for Wolfgang. She even cried when she found out that he killed himself. She also attended his funeral . the house was given to her because of what she had to go through . she never moved into it but visited it from time to time . Does anyone know the real reason why he killed himself ? Did he not wont to go to jail or did he not want to live without her . I think he cared for her in his own kind of fucked up way. Like an abusive boyfriend would . he may have even loved her the best way he knew how . if yall liked this movie yall will like the girl next door . I think its on tubi. It was good and really sad and also based on a true story . im not saying NK didn’t suffer because she did for 8 long years . but the things this poor girl went through was pure hell . at least Wolfgang showed some form of a kindness.
Very impressive filmmaking with great acting. Her performance was very accurate in regard to the numbing effects that the constant threat of violence produces.
Weird movie but interesting because sadly there are freaks out there like him. The boredom and loneliness this woman must have endured is unimaginable. The Christmas scene was so bizarre but so very sad. The intelligence this man had to pull this off so strategically and for so long is terrifying. Thankfully she is free now?
