Based on the German serial killer, Fritz Honka.
Fritz Honka is a lonely, weird-eyed German man who staggers around even when he isn’t drunk and surprisingly manages to remain employed, once even as a security guard. He is in awe of pretty women and worships them. Scabby old alcoholic women though are taken home, treated poorly, sometimes killed, and their body parts stuffed away in his apartment.
The Golden Glove is a beautiful movie on a terrible truth. When it’s not violent, it hauntingly captures pub characters and scenes with a charm that is almost nostalgic.
With these treats you are really spoliing us. I have only just recently watched ..Sonny Boy.. and this but I highly reconmend both.
Awesomely effed up. 5 stars. Must see.
This was a film that had it all. Killer looking like a retard, fat and skinny ugly women, one good looker and a wimp of some type. Good plot and pretty good gore. I could almost smell the rotting flesh he had stashed in the attic!
Masterpiece,my favourite movie of 2019 & since, the actor who played Fritz did a hell of a job, much like Charlize Theron did in her transformation into Aileen wournos in Monster, dark, dirty & grimy,it really captures that area of Germany in the 70s & the warped life of the Alcoholic Serial killer Honka,in all its putrid & pathetic glory, nice Addition,Cheers
Well, well, well, that was a treat! It’s the kind of movie makes you want to shower afterwards. Pretty good acting too, I was curious how the main actor looked like and the fucker is actually good looking! Nice little fucked up gem from Germany
One of my all time favorite horror movies, they don’t come much more EU than this one, cept maybe Crazy Murder. Loved every minute of it, thanks again EUM
LOVE IT!!!
As another reviewer says you will want to take a shower afterwards. While the serial killing story is nothing really new (i.e. it reminded me somewhat of a more squalid version of 10 Rillington Place) it is the great acting, cinematography and attention to detail (e.g. the sh*t down the leg of the final victim being strangled) that all excel. The ‘grime’ of this film literally jumps out at you. A very strong 4 /5 jars of mustard
Great film, good acting and directing.
love it,!! thanks eum
Man… this site is better than woke Garbage Netflix.
this was a knock out
In a world where having a shit in a garden is now considered a hate-crime lets remember ..Vivienne Westward.. for her part in shaking the old-folks up a bit. May she add some colour to the drabness of heaven. In her memory I will be watching ..Leaving Las Vegas, 1995.. .
The protagonist is like super fucked up mr. Bean. 5/5 movie
Love this site. A million thanks to you Admin and staff. ❤️
I did not even know that this was a true story!
Kinda unrealistic. You know this fool had shit stains and skid marks all in his whitey tighties, and not one can be seen in this movie! There needs to be be more attention to detail lol
P.S.
My previous comment was me being facetious. This is a well done movie, a tragic story, with great acting. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it and highly recommend watching it.
This guy’s acting is like: Albert Finney in Scrooge, but on enough drugs and alcohol for at least one effective overdose.
And, I was not expecting him to look like that IRL. Wtf.
Didn’t know Terry Jacks sprach der Nazi ☠️
Great movie, thanks EUM
perfect
absolute fab movie, moar please so good watched it again and never do,, excelent And thanx
Nice… Effeduped
Women who go to bars to drink and smoke deserve to get molested and chopped up into pieces
The film was interesting.
I kept thinking that the character Fritz had a resemblance to an Australian actor I admire until I decided to look up the actor who played Fitz and indeed, the character Fritz has a resemblance to the actor Jacob Elordi.
