Plot – Spoilers:
A hypnotist Jijii controls a young psychopathic killer Ichi to take advantage of two gangs at war with each other. Ichi is so brutal in his hits, there are cleanup men who mop up after him.

Ichi is cute imo
Geniunly love this movie so much. Its unsettling at first as it is and makes you think ichi is a bad person but more and more u find out he got fed these things. Of course hes still a bad person but it justifies it a bit. The cgi throws u off as its old an therefore not done so well but its still quite good. Its a bit hard to keep track of the characters beside the main ones and switch between many scenes alot tho it was still understandable. The end absolutely gagged me, i didnt expect it at all. Overall i think the rape flashbacks of the school girl were a bit unnecessary as it was added A LOT tho its still good. Great characters with nice writing tho u wish we knew more about “the boss”. I think kakihara is supposed to be the ultimate masochist, ichi the ultimate sadist and the father something in between. Nonetheless one of my favorite movies, wow.
