Plot – Spoilers:
A budding TV presenter who dreams of hitting the big time receives a message from a budding killer, Leslie Vernon, who similarly also aspires for the starry notoriety of famed screen killers. Leslie’s offer is unique – he has planned a series of killings in the town of Glen Echo and Taylor may film his prep and the night of his grand debut. So Taylor takes a couple of cameramen along and follows Leslie around, meeting his mentor (a retired serial killer), while also fighting her conscience over her complicit silence.
Behind The Mask… takes all the movie tropes that viewers dismiss as being ridiculous and unbelievable and posits that they could be quite credible if a clever killer had all of it planned well-beforehand.

It’s a comedy. From the description I thought it was something else. It’s a parody of “The Blair Witch Project” (1999), “Creep” (2014) and “Friday The 13th” (1980). There are a couple of familiar faces like the Freddy Krueger guy and the psychiatrist in “Exorcist 3” (1990). I saw there were 2 new movies on EUM (the other one I’ve seen before). I thought I’d see a fucked up movie but I saw this. I feel like I got punked. I’m going to give this 2 stars but I feel funny rating it even that high.
