Audio sounds demonic? Problem/absurd delay while scrolling video? Use the "Can't Watch?" tab.
Click this first
A new tab will open and a basic security check like a captcha will be performed. After completing the check, close that page and return here.
Refresh this page. Wait 30 secs. The movie should load and you can just hit play.
If it still doesn't play, Click here to watch the movie
The movie should now start playing in a new tab of your browser or begin downloading to your device. This option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs with this method.
The new system here has been designed keeping in mind even people with low internet speeds sub-8mbps. Even if you have a really bad connection, you should still be able to watch the movie without any issues if you:
Start the movie. Pause it. Wait for 30-45 seconds. Start playing again.
This 'Can't Watch' method really only works if it's your specific device/browser that's interfering with the player. There is no real advantage of speed here. Or if there is a temp network glitch or read lag from the server disk.
On iPhones, especially older ones, use Chrome instead of Safari. Might help.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the newly opened tab is not an ad popup asking you to download some software or whatever. Close any such popups and don't download any software - those are ads. Nothing is needed to be done by you other than to complete the security check which is often automated.
AKA: –

Country: USA; Effed Up American Films
Language: English (Optional Eng subs)
Runtime: 01:04:32
Genres: Sexual-Violence-Women, Girl-girl attraction
Plot – Spoilers:
This is the first of transgressive female director Doris Wishman’s works to be featured here.
Meg is a stay-at-home doll who throws a fuss when her husband heads to office on a weekend. Stepping out alone later that day, she’s assaulted by the apartment janitor who then further bullies her into going to his room so he can complete the rape. In the scuffle, Meg ends up killing the guy and flees for New York where she meets stranger after stranger, each an unsettling experience that sees her always packing and moving.
For a modern viewer, particularly a first-time Doris Wishman viewer, you might have to force yourself early on to sink into the seemingly-dated atmosphere and style. You can even see Doris in a glass reflection in one scene. But if you can submit to all that, this can be a truly charming experience. Gigi Darlene plays Meg as an innocent young woman, naïve to complex and cruel people, but she seemingly also carries a kind of burden that demands she submit to every distasteful experience, almost like she deserves it for being a pretty woman.
Random Trivia:
This is part of the EUM-termed Porcupine Tree trilogy from Wishman. The song, And the Swallows Dance Above the Sun, from the first PT official album, ‘On the Sunday of Life…’, references three Doris Wishman movies. “Do you know that bad girls go to hell” is the 2nd set of spoken words in the song.

First of all, I have to say that the jazz tune that plays over the opening credits is killer. Second, Gigi Darlene who plays the part of Meg/Ellen is gorgeous. My favorite part is when she tells Della that she is an acrobatic dancer and proceeds to demonstrate at around 39:45. To get the full effect of the movie you have to watch until the end then start it over again at about 09:30 and then keep doing that for the rest of your life. 3 stars.
