Plot – Spoilers:
A naked woman in bed playing a zither is interrupted by her persuasive ex-boyfriend, Arthur, who insists on meeting her. He’s figuratively on his knees pleading to get back, until he notices her dangling, shiny earrings. The gold, it so happens, is a trigger that transforms Arthur from quiet-mannered into serial rapist, and in this particular case, a murderer. Arthur’s got an uncle that’s a detective and the old man forces himself into the case and so begins the search for Arthur, with the uncle visiting all the women, Arthur ever knew. In the meantime, there’s a dodgy-looking surgeon who’s upset by the case, because he might have something to do with what’s going on with Arthur.
By this movie, Doris Wishman had started including shots of cocks – here, they’re Arthur’s limp dick. Some of the acting here is hilarious, particularly, the uncle-detective who pulls weird expressions around exposed thighs that are intended to be cop-skepticism, but look rather weird-horny.
About this Cut:
This is the longest possible cut available and is unique to EUM. It was made by splicing together the original theatrical release with the Bluray release. For some reason, at the time of the digital release, several minutes were cut off leading to goofs. Other changes in the first DVD release included rendering Felix’s threesome in B&W and keeping the original music going through the scene – in the original colour version, it switched midway.

This is part of the EUM-termed Porcupine Tree trilogy from Wishman. The song, And the Swallows Dance Above the Sun, from the first PT official album, ‘On the Sunday of Life…’, references three Doris Wishman movies. The line, “I want you to put Felix’s penis on me” is taken from a scene in The Amazing Transplant.

Saying that “The Amazing Transplant” is an effed up movie is like sayin “The Exorcist” (1973) is a soft core porn film. It just isn’t. “The Amazing Transplant” is a soft core porn film and it has elements you would expect to see in a soft core porn film i.e.; shitty acting, a lousy script, minimal production and some fairly decent looking naked women. The sex scenes are so lame that the guy performing in the sex scenes can’t even get a hardon. I suppose that Doris Wishman was a trailblazer when it came to these types of films but after seeing all three that were put up on EUM today I can’t say I’m a big fan. 2 stars.
