Debris Documentar (2012)

Option 1Can't Watch?

Wait 30secs. Movie still not playing? Click the "Can't Watch?" tab.

If the movie didn't load, it means you are being blocked by a security service we use. This can happen for a number of reasons.

Click this first

A new tab will open and a basic security check like a captcha will be performed. After completing the check, close that page and return here.

Refresh this page. Wait 30 secs. The movie should load and you can just hit play.

If it still doesn't play, Click here to watch the movie

The movie should now start playing in a new tab of your browser or begin downloading to your device. This option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs with this method.

The new system here has been designed keeping in mind even people with low internet speeds sub-8mbps. Even if you have a really bad connection, you should still be able to watch the movie without any issues if you:
Start the movie. Pause it. Wait for 30-45 seconds. Start playing again.

This 'Can't Watch' method really only works if it's your specific device/browser that's interfering with the player. There is no real advantage of speed here. Or if there is a temp network glitch or read lag from the server disk.

If you're still having problems, try using 'Incognito mode' in your browser. On iPhones, especially older ones, use Chrome instead of Safari. Might help.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the newly opened tab is not an ad popup asking you to download some software or whatever. Close any such popups and don't download any software - those are ads. Nothing is needed to be done by you other than to complete the security check which is often automated.

Plot – Spoilers:
Debris Documentar is widely believed to be Marian Dora’s debut feature though it was released much later and serves as a companion piece to Cannibal and Melancholie der Engel. Carsten Frank from those two films is here again as a lonely frustrated man who works on a film set as a set decorator or photographer. Not really sure.

Anyway this guy is ignored by most people on set, especially the actresses, though he does try getting with them in the hope of casting them in a feature film. Him being ignored isn’t surprising, considering he spends most of his idle time on set digging his nose and ears and eating the shit he collects. Or farting. Or smelling his shoes and eating the scabs he peels. This is his public life.

His private life is more dedicated to miscellaneous perversions. He regularly goes running, to the point of nausea, but then gets wildly excited if he spots an animal carcass. And that’s just the beginning of what he gets up to.

Debris Documentar captures the phase where a frustrated man with odd kinks loses control of his boundaries and descends down a limitless void.
