I understand why this is on EUM but I can’t figure this director out. Director Lukas Moodysson is responsible for “Lilya 4-Ever” (2002) which is a film that is in my top 50 list of films on EUM and it is staying there. It’s a great movie. When I saw that he had directed ” A Hole In My Heart” (2004) I was eagerly ready to see something that was at least good but I was bitterly disappointed. After watching this short of the making of ” A Hole In My Heart” I feel that “Lilya 4-Ever” becoming a great film was purely accidental. This is just a bunch of confused people sitting in a hot room arguing with a guy that doesn’t seem to know what the fuck he is doing. After seeing ” A Hole In My Heart” this just seems like extra bullshit that he should have added in the film. I can’t give this more than 1 star. It’s not that interesting.
