Wait 30secs. Movie still not playing? Click the "Can't Watch?" tab.
Click this first
A new tab will open and a basic security check like a captcha will be performed. After completing the check, close that page and return here.
Refresh this page. Wait 30 secs. The movie should load and you can just hit play.
If it still doesn't play, Click here to watch the movie
The movie should now start playing in a new tab of your browser or begin downloading to your device. This option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs with this method.
The new system here has been designed keeping in mind even people with low internet speeds sub-8mbps. Even if you have a really bad connection, you should still be able to watch the movie without any issues if you:
Start the movie. Pause it. Wait for 30-45 seconds. Start playing again.
This 'Can't Watch' method really only works if it's your specific device/browser that's interfering with the player. There is no real advantage of speed here. Or if there is a temp network glitch or read lag from the server disk.
If you're still having problems, try using 'Incognito mode' in your browser. On iPhones, especially older ones, use Chrome instead of Safari. Might help.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the newly opened tab is not an ad popup asking you to download some software or whatever. Close any such popups and don't download any software - those are ads. Nothing is needed to be done by you other than to complete the security check which is often automated.

Plot – Spoilers:
Barbu and his adopted older sister Mimma entertain locals in a remote Ukraninan village with their circus acts, but the dream is to be in a real circus. The big-city circus seems to be the dream of many in the village and several families have already seen their kids make it big. The enabler is a German resident called Caruso who drives into the village every now and then, splashing money and the success stories of the kids he took with him. So when this great man shows an interest in taking him to Berlin, Barbu is thrilled and even convinces Caruso to take Mimma along with them.
Caruso and Barbu hit it off from the beginning. Barbu is innocent, trusting, smart and affectionate and Caruso returns this as much as his shitty ways allow him. For there is no real circus in Berlin. Just a child-criminal gang Caruso runs, with the odd kid sold off to a pimp. Mimma falls fate to this when she becomes Caruso’s losing bet in a game of poker. That’s one of the many poignant scenes in here – all that money collected through so much effort including deception, cruelty and exploitation, and all of it just gambled away in one single game of poker. In the end, almost everyone is treated sympathetically here. Even Caruso, as he cuts a lonely figure whose exploitation of others couldn’t buy him love and respect from the one woman he craved it from.
A little known movie that quite brilliantly captures trafficking in Eastern Europe.
Boring nothing effeup about it another stupid drama that’s all
Damn, that was sad. It’s the story about a, pardon the expression, little preteen asshole (I’m kidding. Barbu isn’t a little asshole), who gets royally fucked over when his father sells him to a smooth talking flim flam man named Caruso who promises to make Barbu a star at the circus. Barbu, thinking that Caruso isn’t a bullshit artist, suggests that his 13 year old sister Mimma comes along and she ends up getting fucked over too. I screamed NOOOO!!! when Julie bought it. Really sad film. 4 stars.
somebody life story i promise
Quite impressed by the direction, performances, characters, and story. Making Caruso into a compelling character gave the narrative higher emotional stakes.
A great movie! I liked the scenery and lights at night Berlin (?) . Also the movie had something of a film noir. the child actors were great ! It is maybe of the last time that the old German paper money the mark is showing. It looks like real money. before the euro , that looks like shit. 4*
Never heard of this movie before, but it was really good!
cried so fuckin much when his buddy got sent away
I love this site. So full of shit. Great shit, batshit, shit shit, shit people, which can also as well be a compliment, in context, believe it or not. But this is real and it was treated with craft and respect, even if and when throwing in some idealized romantic stretch, personally relatable, which I’m not gonna get into and no one cares, least of all me, just saying I am not posing for critic or sentimentalism. So as I’m no gonna say it broke me either, but yes, it brought back muck that I buried, and now I am gonna put all that back there where it was and belongs, just after expressing my gratefulness for the ride on memory lane. Remember, is a good thing, here and then. Altogheter it got me thinking I may getting fond of this pIace, but I must say I am starting to see unfitting the effedup label as it is much less so than the world all around, outside of here, sorry to break it to whoever, if anyone, bothers to read this or other crap I am pouring strolling about, the admin, perhaps, who I kinda am developing feelings for; not necessarily a good thing though. A note on the last frame, whether in the intention of the director or yet another synchronicity godemiché of the demiurgic whimp running existence within this cosmos, the open ending with the return to the village in Ukraine at the horizon strucked me as so… Read more »
admin, what’s your favorite movie
