About – Spoilers:
Based around Gary Ridgway, The Green River Killer, this TV movie tells it from the pov of David Reichert, the cop who pursued the case for years. Being a Lifetime movie, there’s also some supernatural woowoo with a fictional victim introduced and her backstory. Running at almost 3 hours, this one takes its time without going too explicit while detailing the lives of the cop and the fictional victim, the investigations, most of the suspects in the two-decade-long case and the consultation with Ted Bundy.
Tom Cavanagh plays Dave Reichert with pursed lips that gets annoying after a while. But for a Lifetime effort on Gary Ridgway, this is fairly decent.
The Riverman is another TV movie on the case, but which focusses more on Robert Keppel and Ted Bundy’s involvement.

This movie dragged on. Watchable, but a lot of weird business about ‘fate’ and ‘God’.
reverse flash why?
lame and gay
I liked this one better that the other about the green river killer. I was surprised that this monster was caught about 20 years after the first murder , a killing rampage with more that 50 bodies strewn in the area. 4*
A polícia americana e tão incompetente demorou duas décadas pra prender um assassino serial killer bom filme um pouco longo nota 7 assisti ontem
Far too much quasi philosophizing about “fate” and god, god, god….
Otherwise an ok TV movie
TV movie made to make Dave Reichert look like he was the hero in the capture of Gary Ridgeway. They portray Reichert like the conscientious detective, who worked night and day to catch the killer and who’s whole life was consumed by the case. It is more likely that Reichert and his task force were collecting fat pay checks provided by tax payers while they were loafing, taking vacations and getting drunk every night. It took the incompetent fuck and his useless task force 19 years to figure out who the killer was and that was only because of advancements in DNA technology. Dave Reichert has become a very rich man because of Ridgeway and he did fucking jack to catch him.
The 2nd half gets overly corny with the “Hel” story with Reichert watching a video of Hel while (laughably) tears are streaming down his face. When Reichert finally confronts Ridgeway, he loses his shit and starts screaming “You’re a MONSTER!!!” It reminded me of when Anthony Fauci was under oath in front of congress, after he was responsible for a half a million deaths, and Jim Jordan, Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley and others all wagged their index fingers at him and screamed “Shame on you!!!”
Anywho, I thought this was a good film. It drags a little in spots but that’s what you would expect in a 3 hour film. It does pick up in the last half an hour. I’ll go 3 and a half stars.
tjis is shit
first 🙂
