Enter the Void (2009)

Option 1Can't Watch?

Wait 30secs. Movie still not playing? Click the "Can't Watch?" tab.

If the movie didn't load, it means you are being blocked by a security service we use. This can happen for a number of reasons.

Click this first

A new tab will open and a basic security check like a captcha will be performed. After completing the check, close that page and return here.

Refresh this page. Wait 30 secs. The movie should load and you can just hit play.

If it still doesn't play, Click here to watch the movie

The movie should now start playing in a new tab of your browser or begin downloading to your device. This option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs with this method.

The new system here has been designed keeping in mind even people with low internet speeds sub-8mbps. Even if you have a really bad connection, you should still be able to watch the movie without any issues if you:
Start the movie. Pause it. Wait for 30-45 seconds. Start playing again.

This 'Can't Watch' method really only works if it's your specific device/browser that's interfering with the player. There is no real advantage of speed here. Or if there is a temp network glitch or read lag from the server disk.

If you're still having problems, try using 'Incognito mode' in your browser. On iPhones, especially older ones, use Chrome instead of Safari. Might help.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the newly opened tab is not an ad popup asking you to download some software or whatever. Close any such popups and don't download any software - those are ads. Nothing is needed to be done by you other than to complete the security check which is often automated.

Country: France, Japan, European Cinema, Asian Cinema

Plot – Spoilers:
Oscar and Linda are a brother-sister couple living in Tokyo. He deals drugs while she’s a stripper in a relationship with the club owner Mario.

After being separated through foster-care for years, the brother-sister are finally together in Tokyo and implied to be incestuously involved. The ghosts of the duo’s traumatic childhood are hard to shake off though, as they both have recurring nightmares of watching their parents die in a car crash.

Linda loves her brother from her gut but isn’t keen on his druggie friends Alex and Victor and feels he’s spiraling down a drug rabbit hole. After a brief discussion on this, Oscar heads to meet Victor, carrying with him some pills. When he gets there he finds the police waiting for him and in panic, locks himself in a toilet where he flushes the pills. To buy time, he yells something about having a gun and gets shot in response. Enter the Void then takes off on a trippy journey detailing his childhood and post-death experiences seeking a resting place.

guy dies becomes time traveling moth, however great japanese nightlife vibes but pretty long and stretched out the first 30 min, which was the most decent part of the movie with plot after a while of you hoping it will turn into sum like a cross of bill and ted and harold and kumar but no it gets really repetitive for a message basically like fucking “A dogs purpose”fvck i think adventure times portrayal of life after death be more realistic then this shit.
Oh and I was hoping that at the end he was just like goin to realize he never even left the house after the end of the dmt trip and none of the bs actually happened but no he gets reborn after picking the best pussy/dick light to encircle like a drone for 10 min intervals before diving in. shitty sober or fucked / not even any jackoff material to make up for no plot. Also the 8 min of psyscadelic visuals are not worth the time spent.
fucking fritz the cat has more trippy bs then this garbage.
oh and all you mutherfuckers boasting abt how much “weed you drinking and beer you smoking” get tha poser outta here smh 🤦‍♂️

Look, I like Gaspar Noe. He’s made some great films like “I Stand Alone” (1998) and “Irreversible” (2002). Noe has also made not so great films like “Climax” (2018). Honestly, when I saw that Noe had directed this film and it was 2 hours and 41 minutes long I wasn’t looking forward to watching it. Some of his camera techniques can wear on you after long periods of time. I did like this film but it is just way too fucking long. After 2 hours of the camera flipping and flopping and twisting and turning and in and out of focus and time tripping from the past to the present to the past to the present, I was counting the minutes in the last half hour for it to be over. If he had made this film 1 hour and 41 minutes instead of 2 hours and 41 minutes I feel it would have been a better film. Also, this film would have really benefitted from subtitles. I had the volume WAY UP and I couldn’t understand half of the dialog because it was said in whispers and I fucking hate that. There is a lot of extraneous camera shots and over long dialog that could have been edited out. 3 stars. If it was shorter my rating would have been higher. Will I watch it again? Fuck no. Too long.

First saw the LFO-Freak intro to the movie when I was in middle school and decided graphic design was my passion. Once you’ve seen the movie once I think you get the jist. every time after is just like background media. Slightly long, Slightly hot,

Sincerely, Lamb420

visually nice (Snake Eyes influence included), but man, he and his wife are very weak dialog writers, film would’ve been stronger with none

It started well but then too many long boring shots was added and ruined the movie. It had a potential to be a nice active movie but instead was way too long and boring. I give it 2 stars.

First, I thought this was the best movie I’ve seen by Noe. However, I thought both “Irreversible” and “I Stand Alone” sacrificed plot for irritating, superficial gimmicks. Even though this also had what could be thought of as a gimmick, he at least used to good effect. That being said, I found the film frustrating and long-winded. It’s also three hours, and thought this would have made a much better two-hour film.

Please would you possibly be able to put up Climax by this same guy?! Oh boy that’d be pretty sweet.. Thank you for all you have put up this far, amazed, thank you again! I appreciate you.
