Plot – Spoilers:
Two couples with nothing better to do head into the woods looking for a campsite called Camp Blackwood. When they get there, their hired guide is nowhere to be seen and the site’s name has been repainted to Camp Blood.
The guide turns out to be a tough woman called Harris who emasculates the two men before eyeing one of the girls. Later in the night, a clown-masked killer who’s been after folk that stray into the woods, kills Harris before chasing the group through the woods.
Camp Blood is a series of plenty of movies. This first one in the series is recommended only if you have nothing else to watch.
A fun horror flick. I just watched “Angel Guts” 1, 2, 3 & 4 before this and they were no fun to watch at all. I liked “Camp Blood” much more. 2 and a half stars.

Super nostalgic for me. Yes, it’s like a slasher movie made by highschoolers who love Scream and Friday the 13th, but it’s super fun. All Brad Sykes movies are pretty fun, after that the franchise becomes so shitty that it’s just funny

One down. Gonna try to keep these comments short n sweet, but I’ll give the ol first film it’s due. I’m pleasantly surprised overall with the first entry. I had a good laugh when the pedestrian was in story ‘and you’ll hear him traipsing thru the woods’ then wtf ‘traipsing?!’ the kid replies, lmao. A few laughs in this one tho, even for me.
Tbh the cinematography, camera work, and soundtrack, were not nearly as bad as I’d assumed, esp from the abysmal video quality it begins with. Acting was meh. I’ve seen a lot worse.
Overall better than I thought, a solid 5/10 based on the old passerbys public theater-like acting, and the ending, which I found to b a suprising ‘gotchya’, for a caliber of film such as this. Peace;)
