A couple of outcasts at school are loitering around the local nuthouse when they chance upon something special in a locked underground room – a beautiful woman tied to a table.
One of them, JT, knows a good thing when he sees one and immediately exults in having just been gifted a sex toy. The other guy, Rickie, isn’t so sure, mostly because he still has his eyes on his childhood crush Joann back at school. It isn’t exactly clear why Joann is more attractive to Rickie – maybe she looks like she showers more, unlike the grimy girl he just found.
Anyway, it’s this point of disagreement between the friends on what to do with the girl that creates some conflict. There’s also the matter of the girl not really being alive.
Idiotic zombie/horror/fantasy/black comedy about some smarmy teenagers who find an ugly supernatural zombie in the bowels of an abandoned mental institution. For some reason the local high schoolers all want to get a piece of the ugly zombie’s puss filled smelling ass. It ends up as an idiotic love story about smirky face Rickie and his childhood crush Joann. 2 stars.
There is a better film called “The Dead Girl” (2006) starring Brittany Murphy and Toni Collette. Although it was a box office disaster, “The Dead Girl” received widespread critical acclaim and was a good role for Brittany Murphy before she died of a drug overdose at the age of 32.

This was surprisingly good. The plot is good, the characters are actually interesting and the movie is actually disturbing. A very twisted concept executed pretty well for a low budget film. SFX were good, acting was okay, some were better than others, and the ending is pretty shocking. 7/10

I remember seeing this movie back in 2013 on the Chiller Channel. It was rather interesting to watch. I thought the woman they found was an abandoned patient who had the mentality of a dog at first, only to find out she was both dead and alive, an undead corpse.
Overall, while there were some plot holes, I did like the movie. Even at the end, soon as I heard Joann say “fucking grow up”, I had a feeling she was never getting out after that, but I thought she was gonna be left for dead. Instead, I’m greeted with a dark and twisted ending. It just goes to show that not all movies have happy or decent endings.

Entertaining. Pretty unique. Been looking to see this for a while and wasn’t too disappointed. Totally Cracked me up that the comment above said it was one of the most unrealistic horror films ever, but not because of the zombie. Lol. Classic Comment dude! * Slight spoiler Alert… Yea, it is a zombie…but why? You don’t really know what’s going on. Failed medical experiments, demonic possession, some sort of witch. There’s a reason it’s a zombie and maybe that reason is why the dog was there and why JT acts so disturbed after being scratched, etc. Definitely worth the watch. Cheers!
