When I saw that Jennifer Lynch directed this I was apprehensive since I had previously seen “Boxing Helena” (1993) which Jennifer directed and I didn’t like it at all. “Chained” is different. It’s pretty good. Vincent D’Onofrio is very convincing as a crazed violent serial killer. The ending seemed a little like it was thrown together at the last minute but it wasn’t bad. 3 and a half stars.

Honestly propably one of the best movies i’ve watched so far on this Topic.
I my self come from a childhoof of abuse and am trying to find similaryties of Unnormal behaivor from my past. I just relized watching this movie that its pretty much 100% Plausable for Rabbit to become that enraged against men who treat woman like shit when i just think about my dad my blood begins to literally boil and i feel so angry that i feel like that i’d might be able to forget morals if he did anything like what he used to do again and i dont even think id flinch anymore if i wintessed it.

The guy could have killed the kid, but instead takes him in under his wing, gives him a roof over his head, feeds him, only to be betrayed. What an ungrateful little shit. The only language kids understand these days is back of the hand language. Good movie, but that kid Rabbit will make you want to punch babies, disrespectful little piece of shit.
I really like this movie. Great acting- D’Onofrio’s weird speech impediment was a great touch. Great directing, good job little Lynch (the cameo in the TV commercial was a nice touch).

This was so great. Really enjoyed a lot of the strange dialogue, far better acting than most mainstream captivity films. This is gonna stick with me for a while. Thanks so much for having this film in hd!!

I really liked the movie, and it was really good. The sad truth about this, is that it can and it probably happens a lot irl, with the criminals never being found out. Lots of missing girls cases never resolved and etc.
Is incredible, how all those mentally disturbed potential criminals are out there in the streets, doing whatever they want. There’s always some kind of trauma or trigger, involved in their motivations, and of course, sexual related too. Guess people should be careful while being around men that shows their resenment towards women or people in general, or some weird sexual fantasies. Those always turns out to be a total danger to society and people.

That was quite good. Didn’t expect it to be, especially the twisted ambiguous ending.
It’s a good movie. pretty original. There was a reason behind the madness of the killer which is revealed at the end. Too bad it took langer than 15 years for the kid to grow some balls despite what he went through. That said, the Killer could’ve just told him, use his anger to exact revenge. He probably woud’ve became loyal. That, and coupled with Stockholm syndrome.

heyyy you posted one of my suggestions. Love this movie! Vincent is one of my favorite actors in recent memory! I know Im not supposed to post suggestions here but Listening 2014 by director Khalil Sullins is another excellent movie. I mean as far as blood and guts go there isnt any there, but as far as whats happening in the real world today this movie hits home.
