Wrong Turn 4 begins with a little nostalgia trip to a West Virginia sanatorium that used to house our franchise cannibals, back in the day. Once the cannibals get done with the place, we cut to 2003 and a bunch of college kids who lose their way in a snowstorm and end up at the same sanatorium. The great thing about this college group is that it’s a large diverse one, which means, more victims and more ways to die painful deaths. And looking at some of the characters and the scenarios they experience, it seems even the filmmakers who wrote them into the movie, hated them.
Irritating rich kids face off against deformed retarded cannibal hillbillies in an old West Virginy sanatorium. Mayhem ensues. Pretty standard stuff if you are a fan of the “Wrong Turn” film franchise. Nothing groundbreaking but nothing that will disappoint loyal followers either. It’s ok. 2 stars.
pretty annoying how that one girl was one of the final 2 when it’s her fault most of them died. they could have killed them in that cell but nooo she was worried about morals and mental health. most of the characters were annoying af so i didn’t care what happened to them lol
It took me forever to find this movie. I remember when I was younger, I got half of it on TV. The ending stuck with me. I like the movie.
People of West Virginia must be so happy for the representation in these movies 😀
Real nice lesbian scene. I liked how they were fully nude on bed and kissed passionately with their full sensual lips and rubbed up against each others. It was also arousing how they were so open with their relationship and would make love in front of others.
Great fun, especially when one of the girls checks her phone…. and surprise, surprise…No Signal! The gory bits were terrific, but the use of, again in a horror film, of Strauss’s Blue Danube, or should I say Stanley Kubrick’s Blue Danube was misplaced lunacy.
Rather meh, lazy writing. In short: even inbred mutated hillbily cannibal can outsmart an american teen.
WT4 has such a fucking perfect ending. The moment everyone wasted every seconds they could use to save Daniel from being tortured and eaten alive, it felt like nobody deserved to live after that. It even more feels justifiable and gratifying because these are very people who also stabbed their friend to death. Ofc, this is just my personal opinion.
This has to be the worst of the Wront Turn series. About 25 minutes in it was obvious. The characters were very hateable as expected. (Especially the surfer hair guys) The gore scenes were better in the other films in my opinion. There was one good gore scene were a guy was strapped on a table and the cannibals were cutting fillets of flesh out this dudes skin while he’s alive! Damn that’s brutal. Other then that I feel they dropped the ball on this one. Shitty acting, cannibals, lots of blood. I recommend Wrong Turn 2 and Wrong Turn 5. Much better gore and the actors aren’t as bad as this cast.

For the first 30 min or so i thought the movie might be quite ok, but then it started getting worse and worse… If you value your time, don’t bother watching it.
I wish all those responsible for producing the Wrong Turns would take a permanent one lol. God awful.
It seemed to start well… and then just didn’t really happen? Watchable (as in I didn’t turn it off) but don’t expect too much!
This is the first movie I’ve watched of Wrong Turn series. It brings back childhood memories. XDDD
