Plot – Spoilers:
Bunch of college kids are headed to West Virginia for the Mountain Man music fest – some kind of smalltown Burning Man thing. Soon they bump into the three cannibals from Wrong Turn 4 and it all ends up in a standoff at the sheriffs.
Wrong Turn 5 features the kind of acting that fits the genre, but also some that has delusions of being A-grade. This makes some of the death scenes very satisfying. Whenever the film begins to meander, a dramatic violent punctuation ensures Wrong Turn 5 doesn’t need much effort to stay with it.
Another gem, even if the street scenes looked like everything was made out of hardboard and plywood, they probably were! Plenty of laughs amid the blood and gore but the most spectacular scene was the flying cop when the canisters exploded.

Although the last surviving blind woman is pitiful, the ending still looks funny to me. The irony.

This definetly wasn’t the best Wrong Turn but it wasn’t bad either. The death scenes were actually really well acted. From the victims screams to the different forms of killing, the blood and gore was a 10/10 for me. The guy being slow cooked alive in the barrel scene was crazy. Or the kid taking the sledgehammer to the shins. Brutal. Other than that acting was shit as expected. American slasher acting. I love these movies regardless. Effed up has all the Wrong Turns, check them out!
I like the Wrong Turn series, but this is the worst one.
