Audio sounds demonic? Video not playing/delay while scrolling? Use the "Can't Watch?" tab.
Click this first
A new tab will open and a basic security check like a captcha will be performed. After completing the check, close that page and return here.
Refresh this page. Wait 30 secs. The movie should load and you can just hit play.
If it still doesn't play, Click here to watch the movie
The movie should now start playing in a new tab of your browser or begin downloading to your device. This option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs with this method.
The new system here has been designed keeping in mind even people with low internet speeds sub-8mbps. Even if you have a really bad connection, you should still be able to watch the movie without any issues if you:
Start the movie. Pause it. Wait for 30-45 seconds. Start playing again.
This 'Can't Watch' method really only works if it's your specific device/browser that's interfering with the player. There is no real advantage of speed here. Or if there is a temp network glitch or read lag from the server disk.
On iPhones, especially older ones, use Chrome instead of Safari. Might help.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that the newly opened tab is not an ad popup asking you to download some software or whatever. Close any such popups and don't download any software - those are ads. Nothing is needed to be done by you other than to complete the security check which is often automated.

About:
The 2nd live-action adaptation of the semi-autobiographical short-story most known through its 1988 anime adaptation.
This version depicts Seita and Setsuko’s aunt as being mean-spirited from the outset. Overall, it’s the harsher film, with both Seita and his aunt portrayed inflexible and self-centered.
If you’ve seen the anime, it’s recommended you watch this after the 2005 version.

Didn’t see yet
I had sex with a catfish
I hate people
This is the first one I watched. I guess I watched them out of order. I had no idea what it was about at all. I didn’t read anything about it. I just pressed play and watched it. It’s based on a true story and it’s depressing and grim. The other 2 versions are probably really good too but I can’t say that I am jacked up to see them. I just want to curl up in the fetal position and be left alone for awhile. 4 stars.
