Plot – Spoilers:
Couple of Austrian teenagers bored of life and school become hangout buddies. Paul is a class lower, and not just at school. Sebastian is initially the dominant one as he has the money to spend, though he prefers shoplifting. But he does have access to things like a gun and an abandoned family yard with an old boat there. There’s not much at home for either and the time they kill together doesn’t suggest anything particularly psychopathic about them. But through one of those one thing led to another bunch of circumstances, they find themselves holding a cashier-girl, Sonja, captive and strapped to a chair.

The boys don’t really know what to do with Sonja. Paul, a virgin, though attracted to her, can’t even get himself to kiss her, instead opting to jerk off in a corner of the building. Sebastian is more daring and violent to Sonja, but he does this not because he has any dark interest in women, but more as a show-off to Paul. In fact, he doesn’t seem interested in women at all and secretly lusts after Paul, and is tender to him beneath all the bravado. Meanwhile, Sonja isn’t just a pathetic victim sitting there, but has been quietly studying the dynamics between the two.

To complement the boys’ hormonal flares, many ordinary scenes, sometimes not even involving them, are shot with a sexual innuendo and it’s a little surprising when you realize that this remains the only film from director, Eva Urthaler.
