Based on the Hillside Stranglers, a duo of rapist-killers from the late ’70s. This follows most of the actual case, except for changing the gender of the psychiatrist involved.
Weirdly, despite the fair amount of nudity, a couple of sex scenes have been blurred out – the director in his commentary explained vaguely that it had to do with odd rating rules.
When you see a movie titled “Rampage: Hillside Strangler Murders” you’d expect it to be about the Hillside Stranglers. I’m not sure what this fucking movie is about but is not about the Hillside Stranglers. The woke psychiatrist woman is supposed to be a real pro. She shows up to work to interview a possible serial killer wearing no bra and a shirt undone down to her belly button so her tits are hanging out. She gives the suspected murderer her address and phone number on day one after she talks to him for 10 minutes. She has wild sex orgies and drug parties at her house while she walks around nude. When they wheel in a corpse to the morgue she ends up helping the coroner move the body from the gurney to the examination table with no gloves on. When would any of this shit happen in IRL? The acting was piss poor and the soundtrack and audio sucked big time. The camera work was fucking annoying too with the camera spinning around the interrogation room.
This film was so offensively bad that it is a shoe-in for my “Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 25 Picks For WORST Movies On EUM.” 1 star.

This crappy low budget movie was most likely totally funded by tobacco companies. Full of plot holes, characters are unrealistic and not believable. Especially the main character. Seems really fake and contrived. And good luck watching it without craving a smoke

what an insult to the actual surviving families of victims, the cops and spec our intelligence….cashing in by associating this with the actual events….deserves to be on Facebook how its riddled with absolute nonsense….love ya site tho but fk this movie…without the hottie duding it it was a waste of attention, could of been peeling potatoes or washing my laundry..I didn’t make it to the end and im not super particular with movies either…an insult to us all id say.1/10
thought this was the sequel to silence of the lambs
Bad acting, bad direction, bad script… almost looks like a comedy sketch. What a poor attempt at making a film about true crime. It’s so corny and boring. The beginning was promising and then it was just interrogation scenes with no point. 1/5 for the nude scenes.
