GREAT CLASSIC ITALIAN 👍
Incredible use of lighting and colour !
Masterpiece , maybe not the first giallo but it’s the one that defines it , fetish filmmaking at its brilliant best , would later inspire Dario Argento’s giallos culminating in his masterwork Suspiria 1977. Mario Bava’s filmography is one to look at , a very underrated director who is to Italian Horror / giallo what Sergio Leone is to the Spaghetti Western .
For an old movie it was not bad, bet it was a big deal back in the 60’s.
