Plot – Spoilers:
The brother of the Sheriff killed in House of 1000 Corpses also happens to be a Sheriff and turns up at the Firefly ranch. In the ensuing gun-battle, Otis and Baby escape and hook up with Spaulding, but not before tormenting a travelling band. That’s pretty much the plot – the Sheriff hunting them down as they keep moving. But this one’s a big improvement on the first one – more coherent, better conversations and entertaining violence and torment. Sheri Moon even manages to turn the Chinese, Japanese rhyme into something sexy.

Ahh… The devils rejects. I’ve always liked this movie. It was the soundtrack that really sucked me in first time I saw it. Gotta love some captain fuckin spalding!

When is a director outrageous if he’s scared of showing certain body parts and real nudity?
Rob Zombie’s just a fake and belongs to the establishment. The gore style of his movies is just bloodier wrapping over a void of depth and representation. The dude knew how to make speak of himself, for sure.
That’s the reason why I hate Z series horror movies when they’re produced in the US : there always has to be issues with nudity with directors and actresses who happen to be shy, unlike a movie like Fantom Killer 4.
There’s no dirty blood and gore, nor any filthy mess in that movie, but the spirit’s there and nudity’s shown like you’re on a naked beach.
In terms of visuals, the management of nudity is much better evidence of a movie director having balls in a horror movie than the management of gore – for that last one, is just a question of money, while for the first, it depends on if you’re ready or not to have people frowning at you.
I think these frowning people grabbed off Rob Zombie’s balls long time ago and left a sack of cash behind in return, which cash he’s been using to put on a show and fake that tough guy vibe in his movies since then.
Pretty Dull. None of the creativity or charm of the first one. Probably runs an hour too long.
