Out hiking in the Andes are three friends – 2 Girls 1 Prick. The prick soon gets beaten to pulp with a spade and hung upside down and the annoying girls are strapped to tables so the movie can finally proceed. The setting is perfect for an effedup movie and there are some great shots of the emptiness and loneliness that makes it suddenly obvious that there has to be someone around to fuck you up there. In this case, it’s a madman who lives alone with his goats and pigs. He seems to have recently lost his mind following the death of his wife and daughter. It’s suggested that he might even have killed them in a drunken rage, something he refuses to believe. The Goatherd doesn’t deliver as much as the setting promises, but it’s short enough to be worth the time.
Watched this a few months ago, it’s not that bad. The crazy guy is cool. But you’re all fags anyway lol

Since I’m not crazy about captivity movies and there is little character development when it comes to the victims (except we know the guy is annoying AF), you’d think this movie wouldn’t work for me. For some reason I found the crazy Goatherd guy to be fascinating. Later on I was a little annoyed when Ana, who had been held captive for 5 days under unpleasant circumstances, didn’t really try to give it her all to get away after she was able to untie herself. You just want to shake these idiotic victims sometimes. It’s a pretty good little film so I’ll give it just a cunt hair over 3 stars.
