The original release of Human Centipede 2 was in black and white. This colour version of the gore and shit came out a few years later and is actually the way the movie was originally shot – in colour.
Plot – Spoilers:
A mildly retarded parking attendant who was raped by his father as a child and is now bullied by his mother, is an obsessive fan of the Human Centipede movie. He decides to create his own extended cut of the movie and tricks the actress from the original into being a part of his new and real centipede.

By far the most grotesque of the trilogy. I understand the reason for shooting in atmospheric B&W, but the vivid colors add a grisly realism. Laurence R Harvey is excellent as the mute, demented Martin. Favorite scene: Dinner with Mother.

I get the whole “without colours it’s an even better emphasis in how grotesque and gruesome the whole disturbing movie is” but for my opinion, that’s just unnecessary, to say the least.
People will feel the disgust when watching this no matter if it’s with colours or B&W, what we see doesn’t change so no big difference to me.
B&W is a trend nowadays (everyone is making independent low-budget movies and that’s a good way to hide their mediocracy because B&W makes everything more dramatic, plus, with colours you must have a good light to capture the expressions and the saturation and all that while with B&W no need to worry about shadows since the movie is already a big shadow lol) but that’s just unnecessary, fans of Human Centipede didn’t became fans because of how artistic a B&W exploitation/body modification/body horror movie is but because of how beyond sadistic and hideous the whole concept is.
Human Centipede 1 and 3 are coloured. I’m just glad that i (randomly) discovered this coloured version of 2.

the portrayal of the tendons being thin and easily cut in this movie is not entirely accurate. Tendons are fibrous tissues that are relatively strong and resilient. While they can be cut or damaged, it typically requires significant force or a sharp object to do so, and they are not as thin and easily cut as depicted in here. Hahaha, horror movie? More like comedy or satire with its amateurish setting. Overall, it’s still good due to its shock value.
What really confused me was the pregnant woman that escaped, but she killed her baby by crushing its head. She could’ve just moved it to the side and then stepped on the pedal or putting the baby a little inward. I’m not sure i blame her though due to the circumstances but it did confuse me a bit.

the purpose of this is to disgust people and jesus christ it does a good job of it, I’ve technically watched some more “disturbing” movies in my time but i think its the cinematography mix of body horror and decay in a slightly nostalgic setting that let this one in particular get to me. even close ups of the actors faces make me feel icky, this is one of those movies that just makes you feel dirty after watching. honestly, the human centipede movies are pushing the limit of what people can handle. Its also extremely concerning that a grown ass man thought of a plot like this. the movies are hardly enjoyable for people that enjoy scary movies. scary movies are supposed to be suspenseful, not traumatizing. besides all that, its a good movie with a creative plot and it couldnt of been shown better

Actually, the colored version of this adds so much spark, especially during the nasty scenes. A completely different vibe from the Black n white version, which makes it seem like a different movie, both are good tho just the color makes it gorier. Altogether a good watch, very disturbing with some great scenography. 4/5

Never tried this in colour,I really dug the black & white & the creepy vibe it had & it really took nothing away from the blood & gore,ive been unsure of Wether to try it for spoiling that experience,loved the first as well,hated the 3rd,wish they stopped at 2,cos it couldn’t be beat,but thats the way it goes,I bought all 3 just to say I had the complete series
