Plot – Spoilers:
Brad returns home from military duty looking like a freshly exhumed corpse. He can only see in black & white and he’s got some peperoni sprouting from the underside of his foot. Other than that, he’s fine and can communicate with his family who’re keen to make him feel welcome.
Fred Vogel’s attempt at making a feature film with a script beneath it all simmers along and doesn’t drag for some reason. Maybe I was just biased, or maybe, Brad’s family were actually interesting enough.
Random:
Deathdream was probably the inspiration for this.
i liked this one, been fiending for a good b movie for some time now and this one was a hard hitter, reminded me a lot of combat shock, keep up the good work vogel.
Let’s just say things got “salty” in the end…
maybe if Vogel cast some people that weren’t his trashy, loser friends he’d make a more convincing movie.
all the movies i’ve seen recently have terrible audio mixing and sound design
Not to bad, ive only seen AU trilogy & murder collection (which was shit) Maskhead (same type of acting but some sicko gore) but not Redsin tower, comparing it to AU is pointless as AU is something different altogether.
yeah the acting is basic as fuck as in all fred & shelbys movies but i kind of wouldnt expect anything less of a film of this budget.
slow starting, but the ending is cool with some pretty cool gore effects from Jeramai cruise, its alright, definitely not the worst movie in this site.
Having Camile Keaton from the OG “I spit on your grave” in it is cool, that being one of my 2 favourite 70s exploitation flicks.
Even with the production quality, actors, and horrible acting you would expect in a porn. It’s almost worth watching just for the finale, almost.
The mom is the pretty red-head from, I Spit On Your Grave (1978). It would have been great to see if she still has that awesome 70’s Bush! A woman’s 70’s Bush generally starts to thin out in the 50’s, but I’ve been with women her age, and older, that still sport some groovy shag-carpet! If I was a guest in this home full of young women, I would find the mother to be MOST attractive!
Oh yeah! The movie is slow, but the end has some pretty zombie-like (a)effects that are worth it. I liked it.
Certainly an improvement after his August Underground trilogy which was just pure garbage designed to gross ppl out and no plot and shit acting. ” Redsin Tower ” was a much better flick too.
So many plot holes it was almost comical. Shitty acting as well. Also the makeup they had on Brad the moment he appeared on screen was way over the top. This movie sucks.
Excellent film. Something different for the real horror fan. People have no idea about PTSD nor demonic possession. I remember my grandfather from WW1!
Putrid. Avoid. 1 star. Less than 1 if I could.
vogel is a consistent film maker – each one a pile of shit
Some of the worse acting I’ve ever seen.
