Plot – Spoilers:
A lesbian couple, Syl and Maddie, are porn filmmakers with their own studio. The porn they’re into is niche fetish and so they often attract amateurs looking for a quick buck.

When I think of Fred Vogel I think of amateur hour productions. He’s probably working with limited budgets but I saw 3 films today before this one, “Theatre Bizarre” (2011), “Moebius” (2013) and “Marquis” (1989), and the production in those 3 are eons above this one. “Maskhead” is actually one of the better Vogel films I have seen. It has Vogel’s signature torture and mutilation of women but it also features some strong homosexual torture porn as well, which may be an indication of where Vogel’s hatred of women comes from. There is a bizarre scene with the whistling cowboy having an odd homosexual experience that is sure to get Cole’s heart a flutter. I’m going to go straight up the middle with this one and give it just a cunt hair over 2 and a half stars.
