Art the Clown returns from All Hallows’ Eve in a performance that marks him down as one of the finest screen killers.
Couple of girls are out on Halloween trying to piss away their drunkenness when Art the Clown notices them and takes a special interest in one of them. The other girl entertainingly forces his attention towards her and you’re left wondering what her fate could be.
Terrifier doesn’t disappoint with its gore and violence, and while Art the Clown is nasty in his vileness, there’s something endearing about him – must be the crossdressing routine he pulls off with his victim’s skin.
Exactly what you want to get out of a B horror movie.

To me, not scary at all, also recently seen the 2nd part…I find Italian 80’s movies much gore than these ones.
Just a word about ” Terrifier 2 ”. Watched it today and wanted to give my opinion on it. It was really impressive, nice jump scares, great effects and tons of gore and bizarre scenes. A lot better than the first one, though there was not much of a plot, but so what, just liked it for its content. People who watch it take note to watch after the end credits start, there are scenes that predict a sequel. And its quite long at nearly 2hrs 20 mins, a rarity for horror films, but worth every minute. Cheers.

pretty good gore and a nice slasher feel, it endedd pretty well too didnt leave me too tired of watching the chase overall a good horror flick
yes bitch!!get her!i can not not mention that the clown has some pretty hands .the whole thing looks pretty realistic.the two girls are also really pretty.so this stupid bitch overreacts over the damn clown but goes to use the creepy dudes bathroom very interesting.i’m guessing that the blonde girl’s gonna be dead when she goes back and the bold dude is also gonna catch some hands cuz clown’s gonna see him with her so you’re telling me that the police drove right past him and didn’t see him but they knew who they were looking for incredibly interesting.yes bitch get his ass! okay why did this stupid bitch think she was gonna break those pad locks and chains with her hands she has no brain so much noise for nothing.look at all these windows she could jump from and she goes for the phone what a dumb person.i can’t believe she’s literally trying to be louder than the dudes headphones wtf. well shit i jumped when he snatched her took him long enough.i like his costume.wtf why didn’t she finish him off!this bitch had a knife and threw it to get a fucking board.the crazy lady looks like the clown the clown looks like the dead bitch the dead bitch looks like her sister and her sister looks like all of them.in the scene where the crazy lady approached the bold guy he looks like he’s in a shitty porn pretending like he doesn’t wanna fuck his step daughter.and bonk… Read more »

Clown movies are plentiful, but this one was a CUT above the rest IMO (no pun intended). Some good jump scenes and impressive gore on display here. I liked the atmosphere of this film too, I think that is important in a movie to give it an edge over other slashers. I also agree with Elliots comment above regarding LTR and LTR2, these are some fine examples of the genre. Another is ”Sweatshop” which has OTT gore as well and well worth checking out. Looking forward to ”Terrifier 2” wherever and whenever it turns up. Cheers all!

Other users: while this film is somewhat generic af in terms of plot/script/acting, if u enjoyed it tho due to it being a slasher w over the top violence/gore and a neat villain(I did a bit lol) then be sure to check out the films Laid to Rest (2009) and Chromeskull: Laid to Rest 2. They’re the same style, kinda generic but with a neat villain n OTT violence, prbly even moreso. Some might argue a better story as well(I liked em a bit more than Terrifier tbh). Bet you’d like em too!
I’d give Terrifier a 6-6.5/10, well worth a watch for the villian, violence, and dark comedy moments alone. Favorite part is when he empties the clip into the protagonists head. Refreshing to see the main(?) character get killed in the middle of the film, esp in a slasher film at that, lol;)

“art the clown” is such a transparent attempt to create a cult movie killer, like killer clowns have never been done before, this movie series is moronic
