Plot – Spoilers:
Milos is a retired legendary Serbian pornstar trying to adjust to a family life with wife and son. Into his shiftiness and unease walks a perverse director Vukmir who wants him to star in his upcoming film. The money’s tempting, but the terms are mysterious – Vukmir refuses to provide any details about the kind of film he’s making, or its storyline. Milos probably thinks to himself – I’ve done all sorts of porno, how different or bad can this get?
A Serbian Film has been ripped apart by a sizable section as rubbish, but our view here is that this is one of the true masterpieces of the modern era when it comes to effed up movies. The Director seems like someone who hung around imageboards and onion sites and decided to put together a collection of the worst he had seen. What makes A Serbian Film stand out compared to many other movies in the genre is the acting and the levels of depravity which all seem believable.

This is one of those movies that is a collection of favorite scenes, one after the other. But to pick a few:
1. The whole build-up towards Vukmir’s vision of a relationship between Milos and Jeca:
It’s brilliant in its use of psychological elements. For example, Jeca is first introduced to Milos in a situation that tugs at his paternal, sympathetic instincts. Step by step, he is then titillated into viewing her through sexual eyes.
2. Milos stabs Vukmir’s nurse with a syringe containing a sex-drive drug. She later walks in with a rusty pipe and her vaginal area covered in blood – a crusty pipe providing sexual succor to her heightened desire was all that mattered, even if it was the equivalent of fucking herself to death.

Like other horror movies, they make horror movies about- Clowns, Spiders, Demons, Ghosts ect.
But this is actually a very good perspective on if someone made a horror movie about pornography.
Yeah fucked up shit happens, but from what I can tell, it was extremely well directed with a perfect storyline as well.
The special effects are also top notch for a movie that’s 15 years old actually.
And the soundtrack is sick as fuck.
Yeah and it was executed so well, I actually never expected it.
I feel like with these banned fucked up movies, people always just talk about how much it scared them or made them want to bleach their eyes, I see those people as blind already, because they can’t fathom what “art of film” is.
The actors are actually pretty fucking good as well.
People now-a-days don’t see through the gabs and analyze/observe the aspects of the horror movie.
And this one directed all of them to total.
Which I haven’t seen many horror movies do.

the message behind this film is important , and i feel that they made it purposely uncomfortable because they really want to drive the point home of real things that happen in this sick world . that being said , i can’t comfortably call this a ‘good film’ because of the nature of it . it would just sound sick of me . but i completely understand what this film is trying to convey .

I don’t think the scenes in this film that involve child molestation are graphic enough to justify putting in the same category as child porn. The scene with the new born does have some shock value, but you don’t really see anything, because the guy is blocking the view, and you can clearly tell it’s a dummy. And in the scene with the son we don’t really see much either because he’s covered with a blanket.

Check out the interview with the director and his team on YouTube. They were saying the movie was kinda a critique of the government, the people, and the whole country. Not sure if that’s just them trying to smooth things over or if it’s legit though
I’ve never in my life seen something like this. So vile so horrible yet unbelievably true to humanity. I would never recommand this to any one but I do command everyone who watched this and became a better human. Please be careful for what you seek out online, it could scar you forever.
After watching this movie, I was left with scars. I’ve seen a few gory and visceral horror flicks but this.. Good god almighty, this is sick. I can deal with watching movies about murder against the average man, but topics with women and children just make me cry. I know there’s genuine issues like this going on in the real world, and it just shows whoever’s watching this that. If you jack off to this type of shit, fuck you and your whole family. Really really good movie, great plot and everything, but also the saddest and most disturbing movie i’ve ever seen in my life. If you’re planning to watch this movie, don’t. At least not all the way through. The ending will make u regret it.

I’m kind of a masochist and a degradee, so I can relate to the mother of the little girl Jeca. Still, I have to admit that this is a bizarre movie. Greetings from a young Serbian woman.
Probably should’ve vetted this film prior to watching it with my gf. I consider it pretty damn brutal. But truth of the matter is certain aspects of life are as hellish and as real as one could imagine. It’s not for the weak hearted, that’s for sure.
I liked it. I feel weird because it showed fantasies that i have. Eg raping a woman while cutting off her head. For me the head should have been on a spear but i felt very guilty when watching this scene xD
