Plot – Spoilers:
In beautiful New Zealand sheep country, sibling rivalry is a thing between Angus and Henry on their sprawling farm. Following their father’s death and a traumatic incident involving his favorite sheep’s head, Henry leaves, only to return years later.
By now, Angus has turned the place into a profitable one using questionable means that include gene-mods. Henry hopes to collect his millions-worth share of the property and quickly scoot without encountering any sheep that he now has a phobia of. But two animal/environmental activists who’ve been scouting the area screw up, unleashing mutant monster sheep with zombie traits.
Black Sheep’s greatest achievement is in taking the cliched docile and lovable sheep and turning them into something to be feared and loathed. Even by those who swear that meat is murder.
Really one star?

Somehow this movie reminds me of hobo with a shotgun.
absolutely love this film.
used to watch it all the time with my dad back in the day.
damn, I’m sad now
Makes sense that this was made in New Zealand. They have more sheep per capita than people. Think it was something like 3 sheep per every person.
my favorite horror comedy
METHANE
this helped me get off to sleep – started to count the sheep and fast asleep – thank u
Hahahahahaahhaahhahaahhahahah
That was BOSS….. Funny… Gory… Fast paced… Antipedian… Great FX… Really enjoyed it. Great way to spend a Friday night.
Brilliant gem from NZ! Very well done for a low budget feat. Another Kiwi movie I watched recently that I highly recommend is “What we do in the shadows”. Kind of same type and also hilarious and dark!
Shit buffers more than it plays, and my wifi is excellent
