Plot – Spoilers:
Different characters waken in a mysterious cube-shaped room with exits in all the six sides. Exploring these exits reveal more cube-shaped rooms, some of which are fitted with traps that cause horrific deaths. None of them can recall how or why they ended up in the Cube, but they must now work together to find a way out of it, if one exists. They slowly realize that they were not randomly placed ending up together by chance, but were instead handpicked based on individual talents they possess. So you have a cop, a doctor, a math student, a former designer of the outer shell of the Cube, a prison escapee and a Dustin Hoffman in Rainman type retard.

As sleep deprivation kicks in and the stress levels soar, the bickering begins as they blame each other for their unfortunate situation and this leads to further challenges in addition to the ones already in hand. Eventually they figure that there are math puzzles that need to be solved and this increases the stress and dependence on certain characters while others appear redundant and disposable, which in turn flicks on beast mode for some.

WARNING!!! SPOILER INCLUDED!!! Very cool movie! Totally original concept, which I truly appreciate. I get so tired of seeing the same story lines rehashed over and over. Like how many Spiderman movies are there now? Eleventeen? Hollywood is too busy sodomizing small children to make anything original anymore…and when something fresh does turn up it’s actually quite enjoyable.

My one complaint – that Doctor. I wanted to see her suffer much more than she did. I mean she just fell a few thousand feet and disappeared. I wanted to see her die slowly… painfully… like, say the death of a thousand cuts, starting with her mouth being sewn shut. Now that would have made this a five star instead of just 4.

And, as always, I want to thank you guys at EUM for all the work that you do – just for us! And I think I speak for the masses here when I say “we love you madly!”

Want a break from blood and guts and the fucked up? Then check this out. Its not gonna win any awards but it is unique in its originality, actors that can actually act and tight direction. I rate it bc it kept me interested and was not boring. Cool movie,as Dr Lecter said in his comment.
