Plot – Spoilers:
A former surgeon who lost his mental balance following the death of his wife during childbirth, lives in the dark recesses of his home with his daughter. The daughter was born with facial disfigurements, though it’s also possible her disfigurements were the result of a botched surgery by the famed surgeon.
In any case, Daddy has now been shielding his daughter from the vitriolic outside-world and using his former shady contacts to ensure a steady stream of captive women into his cellar. All of them are custom-made with surgically-induced disfigurements to serve as his daughter’s friends. There’s also a malformed dwarf who’s some sort of companion to the teenage girl. Her birthday is coming up and a special order is made for a surprise gift for her.
I guess I’m alone in this but I Ioved the father’s acting. It’s what kept me watching. I think he played the part of a deranged lunatic very well.

I don’t know what that guy thought it would be a good idea to try to brutally kill the father in front of the daughter, of course she wouldn’t be happy about that. He should have just left. Or if he did want to go back to save the daughter, just knock the dad out or kill him quickly
Meh, the acting is awful and the plot has more holes than swiss cheese. Nice concept but could have been a lot better. The gore and effects were one redeeming quality, but it did not save the movie. 4 out of 10, being generous.

Kookie film. Great effects. Story is weak and acting is poor. Hung in there until the end but it was a struggle.
Super messed up movie, sort of like a mixture between Human Centipede 2 and The Loved Ones, which are two of my favourite effed up movies.
But I have to agree with Elliot’s comment about the father’s acting – it was bad to the point of parody at times and made what would have been tense and suspenseful scenes into absurd Eric Andre style comedy.

In regards to the film though, effed up plot and great special fx. However, its ALL ruined because the father’s acting was abysmal. I have *literally* seen better acting on Lifetime tv, in troma films, hell even in stage plays. The movie loses all credibility and suspense due to that alone, and becomes damn near a comedy.
Also, why in the fuck was the daughter a GINGER?! Mexican dad, Mexican mom, white ginger daughter. Gee that makes perfect sense tho, since it’s a comedy. Like, who makes this shit n doesn’t realize that?!! This hilarious film makes August Underground look like the greatest horror movie ever made, n August Underground was dogshit. Mexican horror needs to redeem itself pretty fukn quick after this travesty. We go from Atroz, to this?! Sheesh. This movie is so bad its not even on imdb, that shoulda told me right there, smfh
In closing, let me just say, that wheel stick the midget used to support his head up when he walked around… I need one of them for my cock:)
