The third in the Hotel Inferno series begins with a nice timelapse of freezing and thawing meat as Frank stumbles his way through an icy corner of hell that could also have been a favorite among late-90s underground black-metal bands for their music videos.
With the Witch strapped to his back, some of the shit the impulsive Frank suffers is truly hilarious. There are also creatures that require their heads bashed in to die, flesh guns and monster chicken with dicks big enough to be ripped off.
Don’t like the Witch in this one… hate the voice. It’s distorted and hard to hear on some parts and she calls him “sweetheart” too much.

Nothing new here, if you know Necrostorm & know the first 2, you know you’ll get a bloodbath & gorefest, except, theres no practical effects, 100% CGI which is Necrostorms Nichè, is you’re into that & it doesn’t bother you, enjoy, theres cool kills & all the blood & gore you want……just CGI & that stuff just isn’t for me, Give me Tom savini, Dick Smith, Rob Botin, Rick Baker & Greg Nicotero & their practical effects magic any day, its an artform, too much watching these feel like you’re just watching some asshole playing an Xbox for 2 hours straight, i believe CGI should be used in small flourishes to compliment practical effects & when its used correctly can put the perfect finishing touches on, but using it gratuitously as Necrostorm does, is just lazy & gets on your fucking nerves, some things are pretty cool, But this is extreme overkill.

EVERY Gory Fx in this movie is practical, and only a couple of scenes have digital blood ADDED. There is a lot of CGI, but factually not related to the gore, and there are TONS of practical fxs.

FACTS: all the gore and creatures in this movie are practicals, and there is almost zero CGI related to gore.
OPINION: you can dislike the practical effects in this movie and prefer Tom Savini’s style, like I personally do.

What I said is a FACT because I wrote verifiable information that is based on reality and can be proven to be true. Anyone can simply play the movie and verify that all the Fxs are 100% practical.
Differently, my OPINION is my personal view, belief, or judgment about a particular matter. In my opinion, HI3 practicals are similar to Evil Dead and Bad Taste Fxs, and I don’t like them at all. I think Little Red Necro effects from the same studio are 100 times better, so they took a step back in this movie under that aspect.
That being said, I would never call the practical Fx CGI just because I don’t like them. If I do that, I just sound like a fucking retarded mongoloid mixing facts with opinions.
