Another one based on the Junko Furuta case after Concrete. This attempts to follow the case more factually and so can you, even if through a grainy haze. The subs were already burnt in and so couldn’t be fixed. There’s also another one that’ll be updated here next week.
This one highlights Junko’s captors as feeble little pricks who were a thrashing away from having their bravado punctured rather than them being true psychopaths.

By far the best movie I saw this week is ‘The Sessions’, an American movie by the Australian director Ben Lewin. With Helen Hunt in ‘full glory’, and no one I told about it, believed she could be so great. You know, it is pretty effedup to have to live your life like the guy in this movie, and I just needed the little bit of humanity shown in this movie. I love you Helen Hunt!!! Serious stuff: when it comes to being human, to portraying the (effedup) filth of humanity, study Eastern-European literature and cinema. For the latter, watch the great films of the Polish director Wojciech Smarzowski. Furuta’s parents were distraught at the sentences these lowlifes got so they sued Minato’s parents for ¥50 million and won, but their sentences should’ve been re-extended as well. They only ranged from 5 – 20 years, which wasn’t enough by a long shot. Even worse, most of them hardly changed after their releases.
