Plot – Spoilers:
A Greek girl on her 11th birthday is apathetic to her family’s celebratory mood and instead jumps off the balcony. The film then follows the grieving family led by its patriarch, who confusingly is grandfather to some and father to others. And slowly the dysfunctionalities also begin to emerge as does his control over everything including details such as weighing the food they eat and bizarre behavioral rituals.
Miss Violence hints and hints for a long while before finally shredding the veil to what the fuck has actually been going on in the family. And then offers no respite, when it finally ends.

Movie reminds me when i had my first anal sex with my stepdad two years ago while mom was at work. I know it’s weird but i loved his dick he fucked me so hard and passionate it was great, Never told anyone that i had sex with my stepdad.
Overall a boring movie especially the first half, There is some suggestive talking that something bad happens in the family but nothing interesting really happens
Gets a little interesting probably somewhere near the end where there is a mild sex scene with one of the daughters getting prostituted and having forced sex with her father and his friends inside a Greek laundry shop.. Score 6 out of 10
this was all greek to me
I have this one on DVD. Great Greek movie, unfortunately, from previous comments, it seems not everyone agrees. But although is not so in your face, I found it brutal… way more than the more gratuitous violence movies. Very bleak and depressing as well, so a perfect Sunday afternoon entertainment with the family!
Good movie, hits pretty hard at times with some shocking hard to watch scenes.
So you expect me to believe that after the girl jumps off the balcony, instead of everyone start screaming and go for help and hide the other kids, they all look at her silent and even let the kid see her dead in a pool of blood? 0/5, not gonna watch the rest. 1/5 to lower the rating.
%100 pure organic fucked up 👏
Grandpa – what a swell guy. I like happy endings.
Too bad that ending scene couldn’t happen sooner, but at least it happened. Bye, “Grandpa”!
o/t In memory of Angela Lansbury I will be watching Blue Hawaii tonight. Bedknobs and Broomsticks is just a bit too creepy for me.
You people don´t understand how great this movie is.
every aspect of this movie is watched over and controlled.
I grew up in a very violent home, and i got so much triggered by this movie.
i am not talking just about the sexual abuse but the hidden Violence, yet only visible to those, who know what real horror looks like.
it is slow, but every min of this movie is part of the picture, off the daily horror it want to show us.
be thankful you don´t understand it.
Can we get a Nig shit fest going in this comment section to? Like the one in combat girls? Don’t forget to flush 😁
A hard watch but not for what youd want. Its slow and boring. Especially for this site. It took me about 4 days to watch. Mainly because i kept getting bored

many loves to you
An unbearably formidable, yet theoretically finessed tale of family dysfunction that also stands as an allegory about the kosher ethos and economic decline in Greek society.
Just a typical Greek family.
