Plot – Spoilers:
Sarah is babysitting her friend’s kids on Halloween night. The kids are bored with her, emboldened by ‘stuff they’ve seen on the internet’, and feel she’s patronizing their age. So when one of them finds a VHS tape he received while trick-or-treating, they bully her into letting them watch it. The tape contains a few short films featuring Art the Clown in a number of vile acts.
As the night rolls by, the kids aren’t that fearless anymore, and neither is Sarah as the horror steps closer home.

Spooky Halloween horror stuff but it’s definitely worth hanging in there until the end. 3 and a half stars.

All Hallows’ Eve – 6/10
First appearance of Art, the clown in a long-cut movie, which includes 3 shortcuts and a story of watching ‘em, 2 of those short-cuts were previously released as “The 9th Circle” (2008) and “Terrifier” (2011). Honestly, the first and second shortcuts are shitty. The first one tries to be unsettling and brutal, however it breaks into a wall of poor acting and low budget, and the second one… it’s just stupid lol. The third shortcut and the ending of the movie were awesome. Unpredictable, breaking some slasher canons, including high quality gore. I loved this movie in general, but almost 2/3 of the watch was so boring that I can’t give it a better score. You can watch it if you want to dive into the Terrifier anthology, but, probably, not more than that.

Most of this movie is boring, but plot twist at the end is absolutely fantastic!
Idc what anyone says this movie was both hilarious and I said “SHIT I was not expecting that”, mostly in the last 40 minutes but still. I maintain that Art is best clown to grace the screen since the OG Pennywise. And how hard I laughed when that alien mf popped up outta nowhere. 8/10.

Clickbait cover. Sure, the clown looks scary, but he’s inefficient and incompetent as a killer in the movie. Or maybe, he just like to wasting his time on catching his preys who are so bad at escaping from him.
As for the other killer, why was there an alien in this movie if the clown had to appear twice? Is it a cameo role? Or a filler scene?
The ending was also too anti-climatic. I really thought the kids would have been the first to survive since they hadn’t watched all the VHS(?) movies, or at least have a scene of struggling to survive, but it turned out that they’re not. This made the opening scenes with them so insignificant since they didn’t literally do anything except to watch and sleep as characters in a HORROR movie.
2/5 for me.

I was not that into this and only thing that kept me with it was the clown..i think he is hot.. i love creepy clowns and the old and new pennywise are my favorites ever.. so sexy.. i really love hardcore gore and torture .. im huge fan of joker too and he is just so beautiful and badass

Only the last short was of any value, the other two were just plain silly imo. I am not a big clown fan but I do like lots of gore and torture ( yeah, I know I am sick ) and I found not that much in this film. I am, however looking forward to watching Terrifier the movie as I have heard good things about it. Cheers all.
