Plot:
The ABCs of Death (2012) is the first in a 3 movie series featuring 26 short films by directors from around the world. Each short runs for 4-5 minutes and most effed up genres are covered in the anthology.
The directors were all given a letter from the English alphabet and were then free to choose a word beginning with that letter. The only prerequisite was that their short should be themed around death and should fade in and out of the colour red. The letter ‘T’ was put up as a contest for filmmakers, and if you Youtube it, you’ll find some pretty good ones that didn’t make it. ‘T is for Talk’ is one such (can’t embed it here for some reason).

A: a little confusing at first, but totally caught me off-guard at the end. solid intro, 8/10 B: also confused. maybe im stupid but i had no idea how it related to bigfoot. decent scares, decent short. 6/10 C: despite the repetitive sfx and music, I was actually pretty impressed by this one. im not usually a fan of cycle/loop stories but I enjoyed it, solid 9/10 D: the whole time I had to reassure myself that the dog actor was fine and they probably just edited it super well lol. but overall, fucking epic. 10/10. loved the visuals, loved the audio, loved the story. E: was honestly expecting some “the fly” shit, or some weird ovipositor bug-alien-mpreg scenario. less horrifying than I thought it would be, but ultimately kinda weak. liked the visuals and humour tho, 6/10 F: the second I saw that uniform and heard the language I knew it was gonna be some weird shit.
