Aimy In A Cage combines over-the-top dramatic acting with fascinating art littering the background of every other frame. Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam and David Lynch seem like influences, but Aimy doesn’t have enough of a backstory to warrant your sympathy. What makes her evil family evil?
Beginning with the lead actress, there are others also in here that seem like terribly smug indie hipsters you’d struggle to tolerate if you happened upon them. But the aesthetics and overall theme, coupled with the little-over-an-hour duration may perhaps help in keeping your interest.

Bizarre and obnoxious. You’d have to be in the mood to get through the whole movie like I did and have lots of patience. This film could sure use subtitles considering the sound goes from a whisper TO A FUCKING SCREAM then back to a whisper THEN BACK TO A FUCKING SCREAM then back to a whisper etc. I’m sure there is some deep meaning behind it all but all it did for me was give me a fucking headache. 2 stars.
the beginning was boring, but it started to get good during the whole lobotomy party, really like the visuals but the story is confusing? reminds me of the rocky horror picture show where you don’t get it, but it’s still entertaining and fun to watch. wish more people talked about this movie

All of the characters, the colors, the way it is filmed, the lighting. It’s all fantastic. Every scene shows so much emotion. I absolutely adore this movie.
I don’t get it, tried to watch it on mushrooms, very bad idea, rewatched it staight, nah maybe ya have to be a art/film/uni student to like it, Sin city, Natural born killers, easyrider etc etc awesome movies, this isn’t effed up it’s just plain fucking shit, sorry admin ya had to get it wrong sooner or layer.

Very funny movie, thanks to the EUM guys for bringing weird stuff. The girl is too annoying sometimes but I like the nonsensical characters, reminds me of Alice in wonderland.
