The first in the Angel Guts series follows a biker gang whose pet pastime, besides riding their Yamahas, is raping young women who aren’t past their expiry date, as one of them thoughtfully puts it. They’re united while raping, but there are cracks including leadership issues and the impotence of one of them.
Among the virile ones, Kawashima is saddled with family debts and caring for his little sister. At home he’s nice to her and works regularly at a factory, but with the gang, he’s violent and insists on always going first with the women. His rivalry with the other leader in the gang intensifies when Kawashima insists on protecting a young girl from rape, possibly because she goes to the same school as his sister. He takes a liking to her but the pressures of maintaining his machismo within the gang are always lurking.
Angel Guts attempts to confuse the viewer at one point by trying to feed romance into rape through the use of music and aesthetic shots. The series was based on the manga by filmmaker Takashi Ishii.

3 retards, who dress up like “The Fonz,” go around town raping and beating up women in broad day light for fun. I guess that is a regular thing in Japan because just about every Japanese movie I’ve seen has the same theme. Anywho, one of the dorks has a crisis of conscious because he doesn’t want his sister to get beat up and raped. He later gets taught some life lessons but not good enough. Why is it called “Angel Guts?” Who knows. 2 stars.

As stated in the Admin review, the use of music in this film for different scenes is bizarre. The ending also comes out of nowhere having no real connection to the plot being developed before hand. Plus, if the lead’s focus was to protect his sister why decide to hand himself into the police and leave her unprotected. Yep, its another strange Japanes film. Nothing special, but keeps your attention and has a couple of plot twists that are not so much unexpected as unfathomable. 2.5/5 debt repayments.
So the gang is cool with rape but murder is clearly crossing their ethical bounds.
Also ***spoiler*** the train yard scene after Kawa rapes the girl and then Kani sticks his hand in her revealing Kawa blew his load – wtf – JUST WHY? Lmfao
Cute women throughout is the only reason it gets 2/10.
No good sex scenes or nudity either.
