This last option has the minor disadvantage that English-language movies with optional subtitles in the movie player will not include these subs.

About:
The day Angela Bettis became an actress, it was inevitable she would play Carrie whenever the remake came along. This starts off like a scene-by-scene remake of the 1976 version, but then veers off while trying to stay within the confines of the original novel. It’s also got Katharine Isabelle as a mean girl and Patricia Clarkson as mother.

The original “Carrie” (1976) is a classic. It’s a great story with great actors that became a great movie. It will be in my “Old Mother Hubbard’s Top 25 Best Mainstream/Hollywood/Blockbuster Films on EUM” for sure.
“Carrie” (2002) is the TV remake. It’s basically the same story with really shitty acting and variants of the script to make it suck. Critics shit canned it from the jump but a lot of them said that Angela Bettis did a great job. REALLY??? Speaking of shitty acting, we can’t go any further without mentioning the DEI hire that was put in the film to represent, not because of her acting skills. The black girl who played Sue should be offended that she was hired and used by whitey as a cheap way to get some black TV viewers. 1 and a half stars.
Sue being black made this movie trash

like i said amazing movie a great story i gess they just fucked with the wrong girl and that girl was carrie white
a really great remake of a classic movie tell more of the story than the oroginal movie GOD i loved the original movie so much was not disaponted in this remake thanks for shre uploader
I honestly really enjoyed this remake. Aside from the ending, it is easily the adaptation most true to the book. The whole cast is amazing, Angela Bettis is perfect for her role, Patricia Clarkson is superb, the actress playing Chris did a perfect job playing a bully. I know most prefer the original, but personally this remake is my favourite version.
This remake is an insult to the original and a great example to show what should not be done.
There was a fake Kititza comment in here that I didn’t realize for a while. Deleting it caused all the comments linked to it to also vanish.
Apologies to anyone who might have had a well thought out response in that thread 🙂
TALK ABOUT THE MOVIE YOU FUCKING HYPOCRITES OR GET LOST YOU LITTLE ASSHOLES. I MEAN IT!!! FUCK YOU YOU ASSHOLES.
Nah wasn’t a big fan of this, I used to be 100% agsinst remakes but over time learned that many have been the Equal of or Even superior than the original, The latter being (Imo) The Fly, The hills Have Eyes, The Thing & many others & While not being better The remake of Maniac was awesome as well, This wasnt terrible but I’ll take the Remake with Chlöe Grace Moretz over this but neither stand with the original.
It was meh but nothing beats the original.
