A former American soldier Frankie is scrapping together the remnants of his life following a horrific tour of duty in Vietnam. His wealthy father disowned him when he married a girl of his choice (Cathy) and now he’s broke, about to be evicted from his squalid apartment and is saddled with a mutant baby he feels no connection with.
He roams the derelict streets of Staten Island trying to evade mobsters he owes money to while dealing with junkie-friends and pimps who have no age-restrictions for their prostitutes. As the pressure of finding food and money for his nagging wife back home intensifies, Frankie begins to melt.
This was an awesome movie – acting was great – gore was as good as total recall gore. Well done.
Amazing film, the ending was the craziest I ever saw.
Typical troma trash
decent film, quite good turn at the ending honestly was half expecting that though. overall the pacing feels a bit too slow at times and i wish more emphasis was put on the war storyline and how a mutant could spawn out of a humans snatch.
not bad; better than I anticipated; nothing sensational by any means, but still worth a watch if you’re in the mood for something dark, moderately silly and weird.
This is such a weird one. it’s not bad, the atmosphere and the absurdity of it was believable and kept me watching, but i wouldn’t say this shit is great. Really good 80s soundtrack tho i might have to sample some of it
This movie is kinda meh >:^/
I kinda like it, but it’s not something I would want to see again (at least not right now).
The pace is sloooow, the characters are alright (I mean, the only one I kinda like was Frankie, but then again, he’s kinda of a loser), it’s not really memorable and kinda boring, I almost felt asleep.
But hey, if you like that kind of movie, go for it, I just wouldn’t recommand. >:^[
“Scrapping” together the remnants…..? (Sp.)
