Year: 1991
Directed by: Jörg Buttgereit
Starring: Monika M (Monika), Mark Reeder (Mark), Beatrice Manowski (Betty)
Country: Germany
Language: German (English Subtitles)
Runtime: 01:42:55
Genres: Necrophilia, Gore-Gruesome-Splatter, Sexual-Violence against Men, Violence Against-Relationships with Animals

Plot – Spoilers:
One of the most controversial films ever, mostly because of the outrageous reaction by the German authorities to its release.

Schmadtke who committed harakiri in Nekromantik 1 returns, only to satisfy the cravings of a budding necrophiliac Monika. The term budding is used here because after Monika digs up Schmadtke, she attempts to fuck his corpse but ends up puking. Now whether this suggests she is still a necro noob or that his lack of an erect cock spoilt the moment is a bit unclear. The latter doesn’t make sense because vomiting seems an extreme reaction to this.

Anyway, Monika heads for a movie and bumps into Mark who has been stood up by his perennially late friend. He offers Monika the friend’s ticket and the two watch the movie (a Jörg Buttgereit short) and decide to take their movie watching experience further. They do some boring stuff together for a while before getting down to sexual matters. Mark dubs porn flicks for a living and is a master at groans and moans and appears to enjoy the sex while Monika is confused and feels something’s missing.

What is the fate of a relationship with a necrophiliac?

Even if this question can’t be definitively answered in the context of the general necro populace, Monika does arrive at the solution to her sexual emptiness by the end of the movie in a stunning climax that’s well worth the wait.

This was so much better, than the original. I would recommend skipping the first film entirely, since the best scene from it is in the beginning of this one. Trust me, you won’t miss absolutely anything.

Boring af and so dreadful to sit through, not due to any subject matter, but due to the padding in the almost 2 hour film! Why is this so long! 1hr and 24 mins of this?? The end isn’t really that great!!
I think the creator/director lacked a great special effects and film backer for this sequel and had to draw it out for the money shot conclusion. It even has stock footage seal sex and seal mutilation! I mean really is this wat evokes dread in the Germans?

I love the final scenes in both movies, though this one is much more satisfactory with all the corpsefucking.

Yeah, agree with above comments. This one is much better than the first one although a bit overlong and could have used some editing, its an improvement in many ways. Im not really into necrophilia but I enjoyed this one, it made more sense to me.
