In Israel, four friends headed to a tennis game lose their way in the woods. The very woods where a killer has just trapped a young woman and grievously wounded her brother/lover. There’s also a ranger couple out there on a survey, and a couple of cops too on an emergency call. Whenever any of them run into the other, the result is disastrous.
pure fun
Thanks as always to the admins, never heard of this one but glad I checked it out. Props on the new screencover /screensaver whatever you’d call it for movies on pause btw, nice touch;)
Based on the above comment, I decided to watch, needed a laugh, so thanks Time For Your Search!
Extremely unique atmosphere, not just for a horror/comedy(I assume that’s what it was meant to b) but for a slasher film too, with a fresh plotline n how it played out. Prbly had the greatest fist[slap]fight I’ve seen in a while as well, lol. For a slasher tho, extremly unique plot, so for that alone it’s worth watching and I’ll give applause, which is rare in my book for a slasher. I also enjoyed the very dark comedic moments throughout. I suppose w how the plot played out and how the ‘slasher’ didn’t really kill anybody, u could call this a Revisionist Slasher, lmao, a rare breed indeed!
Cons: horrible editing, not abysmal but just shy, amateur af status:/
Random thoughts: That Israel flag themed little-tree air freshener in the cop car had me dying, I need to look them up n give some to my Jewish buddies as gag gifts, lol
A pleasant surprise tho, and one I’d enjoy watching again w some buds. I’ll give it a 6.5, but + 1 for the dart gun (as always), so 7.5/10. I’m gonna b damn sure to check out the other makers film linked above now too:)
Btw, Wtf was up w the screen clipping at 1:07.31, almost like a flashback blurb, I forget what u call em. Anyone kno?? Maybe it was meant to signify when she stepped on the landmine? Seemed weird, I might’ve missed something tho…
liked the twist on the guy in the forest
wait for the awful hollywood re-make
A movie about a series of unfortunate events… Tremendous! Thanks EUM for an uproaring time!
Damn i’m sorry but this was no where near as good as deep dark but hey ho i guess israeli humour isnt for me?
Excellent good fun and yes hilArious in parts. It’s no big bad wolves but bloody good viewing.
I love this film <3
loved this movie! felt like watching a shakespeare play, miscommunication & murder but also funny! only complaint i have is that we have no idea what happens to the killer at the end. overall a great film.
Dumb jooz!
I got bored
If you go down to the woods today …. no bears but a great little film. Simple but great storyline with good acting. 4/5 jars of honey
