Plot – Spoilers:
Angel, a mute girl, has been forced to work at a remote brothel that caters to clients with darker, more violent sexual tastes. The owner of the brothel fancies her and this gives her relative privileges – so she doesn’t service the clients anymore and instead spends the days getting the girls ready and later cleaning them. There’s also the occasional treat of a bar of chocolate to rest with.
Angel has turned herself into a human rat, and has mastered the crawlspaces of the building, which she often uses to enter and exit rooms. One such room has a new girl who knows sign language and who reminds Angel of her sister. Their friendship gives Angel a new purpose in her use of the crawlspaces.
10 out of 10 no cap
A decent film. After reading the comments I get the feeling that most of you don’t know who’s house she ended up in at the very end and who the guy was that locked the door. I’ll give it 2 and a half.
Great movie, shows you can show the character even without saying a word.
Also dead russians as a bonus, always welcome to see.
I expected a lot more from this, having read the comments. The movie is very predictable, and just not believable. It was like a mainstream movie with more gore, but the gore was not as extreme as it could’ve been.
This wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t great, either.
a bit predictable, but not a bad watch. you won’t waste your time. 3/5
Bloody good film. Most enjoyable .
kind of boring but it kept you wanting more ….it was an easy kill at the end to bad ..an asshole like him needed to be killed with more hurt but oh well
bravo. fantastic film
thanks!
I’ve seen this ages ago… I survived and throughly enjoyed it… but 20 min in this time (with some alcohol) and I just can’t… horrifically sad… very very good crafted film even though I gotta bail
It’s a bit boring and incredibly predictable. A big YUCK from The White Horseman
Loved this but it’s such a tragedy how true this is! So many children, boys & girls & women falling into this kind of slavery. Especially crossing our southern border right now. :/
I loved this movie. I am a huge fan of this site because it really has something for everyone! This was one of my more mild favorites so far for sure. Save the irrelevant bickering for more mainstream social media though guys, its silly!
Girlboss!!!
4 out of 5. It was entertaining. I discover this site last week cause I was looking for a film I watched years ago (Found.). Is the 8th film I’ve watched here. Thanks for adding subtitles even to english films. Is really helpfull for non native speakers.
this movie is sick
The acting is overdramatic, except for the deaf girl, she’s natural. This movie is so so, easily forgotten.
This movie is calculous and prominently arrestive. I’m gnostic and sentient towards this nonpareil. Regards.
I thought this movie was gonna be really bad based off what everybody said about it but it’s not and I actually like it a lot.
That was a gem!! Thank you for posting!
What a garbage……. No taste at all.
Awesome film. Probably one of the best on this site. Brutal, dark and gritty. Great performances all around. Can not fault it. EUM, you have excelled yourself with this gem, I rate it 10 out of 10 for the suspense and tension alone. A must watch. Cheers all.
No English subtitles?
The available subs are all over the place. But since this seems to be a popular one here, we’ll fix them and update the copy here. Will take time cuz needs to be manually done. So if you really need the subs, have a look over the coming weekend.
Updated with subs now.
There were subtitles on mine, infact, though it’s hard to knock the great service EffedupMovies brings, nevertheless it’s one fault is the baffling use of English subtitles on English speaking movies!
We stopped doing that a couple years back when we introduced a new video player. Until then, there was no option to make subs optional and so we burnt them into the video because many non-native English-speaking people used to comment they were finding it hard to understand some of the English.
Kudos to the make-up artists!
The salt and pepper house
Another unknown sleeper from the folks at EUM! God, I kove you guys!
The sad thing is this sort of thing happens every day. Not the deaf mute turned rodent, but the human trafficking. The shit runs deep… much deeper then most would care to imagine, and the people involved are enough to curdle one’s brain. Anyone who believe its all political and/or a conspiracy theory either isn’t paying attention or they’re in denial – which isn’t a river in Egypt. I have just two words for you – Jeffery Epstein.
Love him or hate him, Donald Trump is going after these scumbags with a vengeance. More then 3500 arrests since he’s taken office. Maybe that’s why so many of the”elite” despise him.
I’m in denial.. in a boat floating down denial… (it’s a river pal.) I’m here.. it’s a river
So old Donald’s gonna arrest himself…..and his so-called friends?
From the comments here I was expecting much more. Meh
I feel the same. Kinda disappointing IMO. The most squeamish moment was when he was caught in the tube.
God damn!!! That poor girl just couldnt catch a break.
Saw this years ago and parts of it always stuck with me. I loved the flashback sequences and the shifting from mute experience to normal. Well crafted and shot film. I had forgotten the title until now. Thanks EUM! Unfortunately, as pointed out in previous comments by E. Spencer, it does have those ridiculous Hollywood moments. The amazing coincidences, like Clockwork Orange and Eden Lake, (Among a million others), where the person amazingly winds up on the worst possible doorstep out of a billion possibilities…ugh. Spoiler, this one does it twice. Lol. Still freaking awesome watch And well acted for the most part. I’m sure I will do it again someday. Cheers!
this is the 3rd film I’ve watched on here where the heroine is a deaf/mute. why is that a thing, a deaf/mute heroine? I guess it makes her seem more helpless hence more sympathetic but I’m not a huge fan of the deaf/mute heroine personally. This is a 5/5 star film tho all things considered
Estaria bueno que subtitularan las peliculas para poder entender un poco mejor jajajaja, igual muy buena la pagina
The best ever…………………..Effedup thank you
Got to be one of my favourite movie. It has a little bit of everything of every genres. Always got to love the ending. Makes you wonder what happened to Angel. Thanks EUM! I always support your website.
This movie is so underrated! Also, when there is violence, it’s hyper-brutal. That scene with the cheek!
Thanks admins, nice choice:)
I watched this film a few weeks ago, bc I had seen another user (↑ lol) post a request for it, n it reminded me I had meant to see this for a while. My point being, it’s somewhat under the radar, just a bit. Really liked the film tho, sad part being that human trafficking is still going on today, yet not often spoken about or reported on thru the various medias, which it should be, if only to raise public awareness, which might lead to more being done to prevent it. Somewhat hypocritical the media considers it a sensitive subject, yet they report on death and murder all the time tho, but if it bleeds it leads as they say…
Always like seeing Sean Pertwee(actor from Event Horizon) in stuff too. Well shot, great acting, plot, excellent cinematography (u almost felt like u were in that war-torn shithole) and suspenseful overall w barely any dull moments.
I’d give this film a loose 7/10, totally worth seeing. I’d rate it higher except the ending was kinda meh, and it’s VERY ‘Hollywood-ie’ and unbelievable, a little girl always outsmarting the big bad armed Chetniks;)
Hey Elliot, she was deaf not stupid. just a thought…
I never said she was stupid, thanks for trying tho…
I love it when ppl only post here to shit-talk other ppls comments. Perhaps reddit would suit u better;)
Hi Elliot,
I thought the ending was appropriate considering the whole bleak atmosphere from the start . It didn’t feel Hollywood-ie to me.
It reminded me of Eden Lake. Watch it if you haven’t already 🙂
Greetings Delphine:) Just to clarify, the ending felt meh to me because, in my opinion, it just seemed like a cop-out and kinda fell flat, like look she did it again, but I’ll give them credit for leaving it somewhat open to interpretation, possibly walking into the lions den, so to speak. Whereas the movie itself, imo, felt very Hollywood-ie, ott, and far fetched to me because she was outsmarting and killing the Chetniks the whole time. Let’s totally put aside the fact that she’s deaf, she’s literally dispatching armed, trained, *soldiers* like some sociopathic assassin, without even an afterthought, dodging bullets thru walls, constantly escaping, etc. And doing it to anyone that stood in her way, sometimes with hand-to-hand combat at that! That’s just how it came across to me tho, grain of salt as they say… THANK U btw for the film recommendation either way:) I had actually seen Eden Lake when it released, and again a few years back when I showed it to a friend. That was a good one too. [SPOILER]Really liked the ending to it as well, but I’m kinda biased with film endings where the ‘bad’ guys win. I love em all bc it’s basically a fuck u to the standard movie norms of the ‘good guys win, happy ending’ style. I call films like these Arlington Road style, because that was one that did it THE best. Some put Funny Games on a pedestal for this as well. I wish more films… Read more »
Most welcome.
I’ve recently rewatched an odd one I’m sure you know. In Fabric. It’s in 2 parts and has an atmosphere I’ve not felt with any other movie. It’s not horror per se but it’s wonderfully weird 🙂
Saying russian soldiers are trained is a little far fetched… wouldn’t take them for especially intelligent either, even a child could outsmart a buff dude that beats girls for pleasure.
Hey Elliot, I’ve seen your take on multiple films on this website and I just love how well worded you are!! My fav part is that you don’t talk down on women like more than half of the men on here. Anyways, I love scrolling down and seeing your comments, keep it up! <3
Aw shucks, well thanks Sam, I really appreciate the feedback? Glad to know that some other ppl enjoy them!
If u haven’t yet, check out the film Werckmeister Harmonies on here. It’s my favorite film on Effedupmovies, hands down, and my favorite review too, lol. It’s more of a perfect example of film and less of a shock-and-awe horror movie like many others on here are tho, just an fyi. Thanks again tho, peace;)
Me too man… I’ve learnt a lot from your comments and input over the last 10 months.. you are a wit and wisdom sir. With great taste
If I make a comment with my first name ( Sophie) I get talked to like shit ,if I.answer with my surname I.am answered with respect! Have even done an experiment in a video I’ s watched and left more or less an identical answer in both names individually…..I.was shot down…then ‘ praised’ for the exact same review..stupid twats 😉
Incredible to think that his father was one of our greatest Dr Who and let’s not forget Wurzle Gummage ..Aunt Sally too 😉 I thought Sean Pertwee was excellent in that great Scottish werewolf film Dog Soldiers.
Yay, one of my requsts!! Brilliant film, sad sad subject and deffo effedup!! Thanks admin xx
Wow just wow

Try the Option 2 tab if the first one isn’t working.
Use VPN to bypass that, this site is probably blocked in your country. Choose USA servers for the best speed.
There’s a little box top left hand side of screen with option 1 or 2 ..try them both or clear your history & cookies& try again.
wow, brutal and superb movie…thanks admin!
