Plot – Spoilers:
Three guys and a couple of girls decide to meet way out in the woods. Couple of them are cousins and siblings – not that it matters. The idea is to camp and frolic around rundown buildings. To our luck, the region is stalked by a few maniacs.
Animal Soup is a filthy film that makes up for its limited effects with extreme violence, shit and scenarios like – a bearded man wearing a bra reads Mein Kampf while jerking off to his partner carving out a man’s face.

Saw the similarities to a ” Texas Chainsaw Massacre ” ( minus the chainsaws ) , with the guy wearing peeled off faces as a mask. Low budget, badly acted but I was not bored, wanting to see what would happen next. Mainly tho, I was put off by the constant yelling and grunting of the two killers. Overall, I didnt mind it, would have been better with a couple of nice girls instead of those skanky looking women but hey, it is what it is.

This is the kind of stuff I (and probably many others) come here for. It is filthy, poor and bad taste just in the good sense of the terms. Don’t expect it to be a marvelous, but it’s enjoyable (for those who enjoy such) and in place. Thank you.
First saw this film with my grandma Peggy about 4 yrs ago, and not even 30 min in after her saying she would rather see something else.I asked her to just give it a chance, she died of a pulmonary embolism,and died of fatal heart attack at the age of 87 next to me.I completely blamed myself for her death, with shame this was the last thing this devout Catholic, 1st gen Mexican immagrent saw b4 her last breath. Obviously I didn’t get to finish the film and swore to never ever watch this film………Until. Now that Ihave found peace with the situation and after yrs of therapy, my morbid curiosity has me about to finish what I started that fateful day…..
